Dedication
I would like to thank my personal Savior, Jesus Christ; my husband and best friend on Earth, Rodney; my children, Jacob (Sara) and Julie (Grant); my grandchildren, Mary, Elinor, Isabelle, Cole, Kate and Ryan; family and friends for many wonderful memories and for future ones that will more than likely come.
How to be God’s child:
Tell Him that you are sorry for your sins and ask for forgiveness.
Acknowledge that Jesus Christ is God’s Son and that He died on the cross for your sins.
Tell Him that you would like to be a child of His and live your life for Him from now on and thank Him for accepting you into His family.
You’ll have the Holy Spirit dwelling within you and it is a great feeling to know that you will be loved and protected while living out the rest of your life in this world and throughout Eternity!
Don’t forget to dive into God’s Word by reading your Bible.

IN HIM SHALL
NOT PERISH

ETERNAL LIFE

Proverbs 17:6 Children’s children are a crown to the aged, and parents are the pride of their children.
?Question of the day: As a child of God, are we living our lives in such a way to make Him proud to call us His children?
I think that going to visit your grandparents in their home or cabin can be a memorable and educational experience!
JANUARY 1
Mary Lu’s experience: If your grandparents happen to live in a cabin out in the country like mine does, then throw the words ‘unusual’ and ‘unpredictable’ into the mix.
God’s country.
Proverbs 3:23-24 Then you will go on your way in safety, and your foot will not stumble; when you lie down, you will not be afraid; when you lie down, your sleep will be sweet.
?Question of the day: When you lie down to go to sleep, are you afraid or do you just close your eyes and know that God is in control?
As you make your bed every morning after a good night’s sleep, don’t forget to thank God for another beautiful day!
JANUARY 2
Baby No–No’s advice: Please remember to count your blessings, which starts with a bed to sleep on.
Sweet dreams.
Psalm 37:12-13 The wicked plot against the righteous and gnash their teeth at them; but the Lord laughs at the wicked, for He knows their day is coming.
?Question of the day: Did you know that God laughs?
Laughing is a great stress reliever. Our cabin tries to be a stress-free zone.
JANUARY 3
Prince Roderick’s observation: Moderation is the key. All laughing and no stress makes getting chores done nearly impossible.
Even God laughs.
Proverbs 27:2 Let another praise you, and not your own mouth; someone else, and not your own lips.
?Question of the day: Is there something that you’re good at and nobody but God knows about it?
Never toot your own horn. In other words, do not brag about yourself.
JANUARY 4
Witty Kitty’s meow: "Be humble and if someone pays you a compliment, say: ‘Praise be to God!’"
Amen!
Proverbs 17:22 A cheerful heart is good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones.
?Question of the day: Did you know that if you pretend to be happy, it will become a habit, which will give you a cheerful heart?
There is no pouting at the Buckskins’ cabin, boat, car or camper. Nobody likes a pouter, not even the one who is doing the pouting.
JANUARY 5
Lanore’s solution: "Try to have so many fun activities to choose from that there is no time to pout."
Count your blessings instead.
Proverbs 18:24 A man of many companions may come to ruin, but there is a Friend who sticks closer than a brother.
?Question of the day: Do you know who that Friend is?
We are having some close friends coming over for a visit this weekend, so please be on your best behavior.
JANUARY 6
Fudgy’s bark: "Wait! I thought I was your closest friend!"
No Fudgy, it is Jesus!
Psalm 37:4 Delight yourself in the Lord and He will give you the desires of your heart.
?Question of the day: What are the desires of your heart?
Time for lunch! We are having tomato soup, grilled cheese sandwiches, potato chips, watermelon and ice–cold lemonade. If you eat everything on your paper plate, you may have a brownie and some homemade peach ice cream.
JANUARY 7
Chew–Chew’s plea: Can I turn the crank?
Say ‘Please’.
Revelation 7:13 Then one of the elders asked me, These in white robes – who are they, and where did they come from?
?Question of the day: Did you know that Jesus can wash your sins as white as snow?
"There are two kinds of people: Those who like to wear robes and those who do
