Why Didn’t You Care?!

Cast Of Characters
♥Dedication♥:
I would like to thank my personal Savior, Jesus Christ; my husband and best friend on this earth, Rodney; our children, Jacob (Sara) and Julie (Grant); our grandchildren, Mary, Elinor, Isabelle, Cole and Kate; and our family and friends for many wonderful memories and for future ones that will more than likely come.
KimRodney.jpgWHY DIDN’T YOU CARE?!
"Why didn’t you tell me about getting saved
to make my trip to Heaven more easily paved?"
This could be a question asked of you or I
when we meet our loved ones after they die.
We need to share the Gospel with one another –
a friend, a neighbor, a sister or a brother.
Once saved, they’ll be raised when they hear the horn,
otherwise, a lot of good people will suffer and mourn.
They’ll have a chance within the seven years of doom
to claim Jesus as Savior and live in His mansion’s room.
Some people never heard the Gospel or don’t understand –
it’s not just going to church, it’s being held in God’s hand.
The reason that I wrote these daily poems for this book,
is to reach out to God’s creation for all to take a look.
Having Jesus as our best friend is a God-given blessing –
pure joy to know we’ll live forever with the Almighty King.
For forgiveness of sins, a prayer will only take a minute
for Jesus to come into their hearts and also the Holy Spirit.
Then they will know how to live the life of a true Christian
and we’ll see them in Heaven: friends, neighbors and kin.
The last thing we’ll want to hear, that’ll be too much to bear:
is…..Why didn’t you tell me?
Why didn’t you care?

38525.png Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

37220.pngKimberella and Prince Roderick try to live a ‘normal’ day-to-day life in Dubuque, Iowa, but sometimes they fail to do so (quite often, but who’s keeping track.)
Prince Roderick grew up in the country, learned how to build houses, played in a family band since age eleven, hunted, fished and explored the outdoors. Kimberella lived in the city, took piano lessons, baked, knitted and never quite grew up.
As husband and wife, they learned to get along by building two houses, playing in bands and living in Kimberella’s childhood home in the city. They also go hunting, fishing and camping together.
They raised a son and daughter who are both married and each have children of their own. Their dog, Fudgy, is the master of the house. Witty Kitty is a smart cat that makes appearances whenever the mood strikes him.
‘Jack and The Old Folk Band’ is a Christian group that consists of themselves along with their son and D.J. They will play your special request, you just may not recognize it as such.
One thing all of the characters have in common is that they are God-loving Christians who go about their lives the best way they can, using God’s Holy Bible as their guide.
Kimberella hopes that after reading this book every day for a year, and hopefully for many years to come, you will pick up your Bible and read it to receive God’s message for you to get through any situation that may arise.
This is the fourth book of the devotional series Day-To-Day with Kimberella and Prince Ain’t-So-Charmin’
. Other books published by Weires are: If the Shoe Fits…..Run!
(2014); Still Havin’ a Ball!
(2015) and Is It Midnight Yet?!
(2016). Quite a few stories are based on actual experiences. The Bible always has a verse or two to go along with any activity the Buckskins find themselves in.

Given enough time, a frog will turn into a prince.
Kimberella hasn’t believed that one ever since
she was a little girl reading a fairy tale book,
while eating her oatmeal in the breakfast nook.
Mrs. Buckskin doesn’t care how much time is given
or how long the frog has on this earth for livin’ –
a frog is a frog and a man is a man
and if she can move on…..anyone can!
42856.png(Day 1 of 366)
Let’s see what the Bible 24654.png has to say:
38523.png Isaiah 9:6 For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on His shoulders. And He will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
Jules and The General are amazed at God’s Creation.
A baby is usually born with finger and toe nails,
eyebrows, hair on their head and finger prints –
this is where Evolution pales.
Imagine a head waiting to develop a body,
or a body there hoping for a few organs.
If turning from a frog into a prince is what to believe –
a fish would sink to the bottom from a lack of fins.
Let’s face it folks, it takes faith to believe in Evolution.
It takes a Designer with intelligence to create this place.
Smell the roses with the nose God made for you -
and with His help, it’s not on your knee, it’s on your face.
42847.png(Day 2 of 366)
Let’s see what the Bible 24682.png has to say:
38525.png Colossians 1:16 For by Him all things were created: things in Heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things were created by Him and for Him.
Baby No-No was watching a caterpillar
crawling on the flower garden’s wall.
The baby wanted to pet it,
but the height was just too tall.
Izzy Ann put the furry thing into a jar,
Baby No-No threw in a stick,
Chew-Chew added some grass to eat,
Jules poked holes in the lid with a pick.
They watched the orange and black insect
cover itself with a sticky coat.
When spring came and they took off the lid,
the butterfly used the air to float.
Explain how that all evolved,
Jules said to The General one night.
"How could a furry worm with all those legs,
figure out how to change into a creature of flight?"
42837.png(Day 3 of 366)
Let’s see what the Bible 24711.png has to say:
38527.png 2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new Creation; the old has gone, the new has come!
Witty Kitty and Fudgy would like to think
that it’s funny how a nut is encased inside of a shell.
The problem is two-fold for them, however –
they can’t think and should both be encased as well.
42830.png(Day 4 of 366)
Let’s see what the Bible 24682.png has to say:
38525.png Genesis 43:11 Then their father Israel said to them, If it must be, then do this: Put some of the best products of the land in your bags and take them down to the man as a gift – a little balm and a little honey, some spices and myrrh, some pistachio nuts and almonds.
Prince Roderick is not sure what gravity is made of,
but he’s pretty sure it’s some heavy-duty stuff.
God must have created a kind of invisible goo
and of course knew how to make just enough.
Too little gravity would make us like helium balloons,
too much of the stuff would squash us flat.
It’s always amazing to Mr. Buckskin
that God is always forever and ever All that
!
(Day 5 of 366)
Let’s see what the Bible 24682.png has to say:
38525.png Job 26:7 He spreads out the northern skies over empty space; He suspends the earth over nothing.
Mrs. Buckskin told her son, Jack,
to turn down the radio and stop humming.
This way he can hear God speak to him
if he meditates – the conversations will keep coming.
Some people say that God doesn’t exist
or that He’s so far away it doesn’t matter.
He can be so close, in fact, live inside of you,
if you’ll accept Jesus and turn down the chatter.
42816.png(Day 6 of 366)
Let’s see what the Bible 24682.png has to say:
38525.png Psalm 119:15 I meditate on your precepts and consider your ways.
In her classroom, Sara-Sara lit a candle.
She wanted to teach her kids a lesson.
How long was the taper burning?
she asked and then they started guessin’.
"We need to know how tall
