INTRODUCTION
Let’s bring lightness back in our daily life, this is the great challenge of our time.
This is the time to take back the reins of our life, going beyond the various forms of fear that suffocate us and prevent us to be free.
Listening to the vibrations that spread through our heart while putting into practice the simple pieces of advice given in each chapter of this book, we will find the strength and the courage to transform our anxiety into positive energy and to overcome every obstacle. We can carry out all our projects if we found them on faith and optimism.
We are all ready to be free to be ourselves. Or a new, better, version of ourselves.
The images of the inner child at the beginning of each chapter allow the reader to perceive the different emotions the chapter deals with.
The inner child is our purest part, the voice talking to us directly and in a simple way. Our inner child wants to be listened, to be cherished, encouraging us to live in harmony with the universe.
The inner child is a reality inherent to our psychological dimension since we were born.
The psychiatrist and psychoanalyst Carl Gustav Jung (1875-1961) claimed that the contact with one’s own self is the cornerstone of one’s self-realization, as it allows every individual to reach balance and well-being.
The inner child, like all children, is in the growth phase and lives only inside of us. Our adult part continues to grow up every day and also those people considering themselves mature and self-confident have a little inner child within themselves.
As a matter of fact, the inner child (connected to the emotions) begins to develop in the very moment of our conception, inheriting at the cellular level the cellular and energetic dowry of our parents.
Working on our own emotions is therefore the key to recognize and to lovingly nourish our inner child, to overcome our fears.
Our emotional part simply asks us to grant ourselves the pleasure to be kind to ourselves, to listen to our needs, and since we are the only ones who really know what we need, our intuition, our great ally, will guide and help us.
But if we do not listen to our inner child, he will begin to tease us, as every misunderstood child does, to catch our attention, and he will somatize what is lacking through both emotive and physical symptoms.
Discovering and recognizing our own emotions while going beyond our fears will allow us to bring up our inner child. And our inner child will give us the emotional force to open ourselves to new opportunities and to live our life with gratitude.
image 11. GETTING FREE FROM THE OBSESSION OF CONTROL
We often think: It would be great if I could get free from my need to keep everything under control
, whereas the person who is constantly under someone’s else control thinks: It would be great not to have in my life that person always keeping me under control
.
These are two sides of the same coin: those who need to keep everything under control are constantly enclosed in a world made of fears, be
