Ruth Awinja, was born in Kenya and moved to United States of America at the age of Thirteen. She went to High School and then graduated College with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She fell in love with writing during her teenage years after moving to America. When she is not working as a Registered Nurse in a hospital, she enjoys trying new food and critiquing the taste, reading, writing, running, traveling and hiking in nature. She describes writing as her own world of relaxing and dealing with feelings by creating different characters to explore through poems, children books, short stories and novels.
