How to use this book
There are many ways you can use this book in your faith journey. Here are some suggestions:
1. Take turns selecting different approaches to praying the Rosary from the section titled Approaches to praying the Rosary.
You may want to select one approach and use it as you pray each set of Mysteries during a week. Or, you might want to look at the different approaches before you pray the Rosary and select one for that day.
2. Pick one of the reflections in the book and think of it as you pray the Rosary. For example, you could reflect on How can I be more like Mary in this Mystery?
3. Read the reflections and spend time thinking about the Mysteries of the Rosary.
4. Write down your Rosary reflections when you pray the Rosary. A simple spiral-bound notebook or a binder with lined paper is all you need. You could also use a notes app on your phone.
If you would like a paperback book for your reflections, I made one for you! You can purchase your copy here: Rosary Reflections Journal.

About the Rosary
What is the Rosary?
The Rosary consists of a series of prayers we say as we meditate on events (called mysteries) in the lives of Jesus and His mother Mary.
Why do we have the Rosary?
There are a few different histories about the origin of the Rosary as we know it today. In the Middle Ages, people used strings of beads to count the Our Fathers and Hail Marys that they prayed. One history about the Rosary is that The Blessed Virgin Mary gave the format of the Rosary to St. Dominic, founder of the Dominican order, telling him to pray the Rosary for the conversion of those believing in and promoting the heresies of his day.
Why do we pray the Rosary?
We pray the Rosary to understand more about the life of Jesus, to draw closer to Him, and to pray for ourselves and for others.
––––––––
When we pray the Rosary, we think of specific events in the life of Jesus and Mary. Meditating on these events can bring us closer to God in our understanding of Him and our love for Him. We also call on Mary to pray for us and to pray for the intentions we share with her as we pray the Rosary.
