#1 Interviewing Trump was much easier on television than in print. He was hyperfocused and ready for rhetorical battle, and he loved Fox News. I had to get him refocused.
#2 I wanted to understand what motivated the president, so I interviewed him. His mind-set affected the lives of individual Americans and the welfare of the entire world. It did, whether we liked it or not.
#3 Fred Trump, the father of Donald Trump, has built small homes and apartments for white working-class people since 1925. During World War II, he escaped the draft because he was past age thirty-five with children to support.
#4 Fred and Mary Anne's son, Donald, grew up idolizing his father, who was very involved in local politics. His mother, Mary Anne, loved anything to do with the royal family. His father supported local politicians who helped him get building permits and variances.
