Chapter 1: Me and My Babe

It was a typical day, but I needed an adventure. I decided to walk to the corner store to purchase some lighters to start a fire for fun.

Exiting the store, I saw my dear friend I hadn't seen in years, Le Femme. At one point in my life, she was my closest friend. She became elated when she looked at me and ran towards me, screaming and hugging me. Charlie! she said. Le Femme! I yelled. It felt so good to see her, and she still looked so lovely. So, what's up, Le Femme? What's going on, babe? I asked.

Le Femme smiled and blushed. I'm on my way to Honey Hill, she said. Really? I asked. Really, really. Do you want to come? she responded.

I felt a wave of destiny tug me, and I agreed. Le Femme became excited, and I hopped into her car. Do you want to bring anything? she asked. No, I'll just buy things on the road, I responded.

And just like that, we drove down the highway with James Brown bumping and nothing but good times ahead of us. Le Femme drove a black two-door sedan with
