    ALL THE CHARACTERS ARE OVER THE AGE OF 18

    The first week of the college semester was the most stressful. When Lindsey decided to teach Volleyball and Swimming at the college level, she didn’t know there were so many forms that had to be completed. She was on the pro beach volleyball circuit for five years until her knees gave out.

    Lindsey was an imposing figure as she walked to the administration building. She was six-five, with short blonde hair and a deep tan, was thin, still looked like she could play, but looks were deceiving. The knees could give out at any time, and the doctor recommended a cane, but she was much too young for that. After dropping off what she hoped was the last of the forms, she went to the athletic building. An office was shared with four other coaches with a desk and a small locker.

    Looking over the clipboard schedule, there would be more students than last semester. All students were required to take three PE classes. Since this school was known for its highly rated Baseball and Football programs, she got the students who just wanted to fulfill their requirements. The school had a swim and volleyball team and competed in meets, but saying they were noncompetitive was an understatement. The teams had never won a single meet or game.
