Feli Mercado

Feli Mercado was born in Cuernavaca, Morelos, Mexico, and immigrated to the United States in the early 1990s. This book took her nearly 3 decades to formulate and complete. Presently, she resides in Northern California and holds teaching credentials in Montessori instruction and adult education while also serving as a Life Coach.

An accepted pain

W hen I was 20, I was born into a new life and given a second chance. This may sound strange to you, but in reality it’s not: We constantly experience life and death, renewing ourselves daily in mind, heart, body and spirit.

At 20, we are not the same person we were in childhood, or in early adolescence, nor will we be like that 20 year-old in old age. Everything changes, and then changes us. Even
