About this ebook

Calain's sister Lyne is a human assassin hired to slay the queen of Honione. She arrives to complete the contact, only to discover that another assassin -- a beautiful and mysterious elven woman -- has beaten her to it. Frustrated, Lyne nearly attacks the elf but quickly realizes that her lust for the elven woman is greater than her lust for vengeance. Don't miss out on this lesbian romance series from the same world as Knights of Passion!

--

The elven woman's pale eyes were fixed with a startling hunger on Lyne, and Lyne's heart skipped a beat as she was backed toward the bed.

"I told them that I led you here to kill you," said the elven woman absently. She was still staring at Lyne as if she would devour her and reached up, absently undoing her cloak and tossing it away, white hair tossing with the removal of her hood.

Lyne watched the woman's long white hair cascade around her face, over her full breasts, and thought she was breathtakingly beautiful. But she lifted her brows when her eyes fell on the daggers on the woman's belt. "And do you intend to kill me?"

"Perhaps."

Lyne couldn't tell if she was joking or not.

The elven woman smiled and shoved Lyne down on the bed with both hands, then straddled her.

    Crossed Daggers

Honione was the worst realm in all of Vallinwir! The land was full of minotaurs, trolls, ogres, and other assorted monsters, all hideous, and all dead-set on eating human flesh. As an assassin, Lyne had been able to move quietly enough that she had slipped like a shadow past many of the monsters unseen and had come out of the Aelwith Wilds more or less unscathed, but the wildlands were still horrible in and of themselves, full of nothing but swamps and mud and sand, until Lyne was stained, hot, torn, and exhausted by the time she had reached Erhyrst, the capital city of Honione.

But there was no point in turning back now. Lyne had reached her destination – for better or worse—and was now sitting in a tavern, waiting for nightfall. When it was dark, she would slip into the castle, scale the wall, slide inside Queen Ffion’s window, and stab her. Perhaps several times. Lyne was feeling frisky.

But for right now, Lyne would sit in the tavern, listening to the music, watching the dancing, and enjoying her mead. She sat at the bar, a beautiful young woman with long, straight red hair hidden under her hood, and pale gray eyes that were often inquisitive. A bow was harnessed on her back, and she wore black leather armor and fingerless gloves. Her simple armor made her seem like
