About this ebook

I endeavored to pull myself up from where I had been. Once I pulled back to get in tune with myself; my relationship with God grew stronger(then it ever did before). I became resilient to recognizing the thoughts of my past fears, doubts, the discouragements, anxiety, and the temptation I faced. I choose to guard my mind against the deception o

    DEDICATION

I dedicate this book to all the women across the globe young, my age, and older. I pray my story will encourage you to reach deep down inside of that young adolescent self. Pull out who you truly are, tap into your greatness, never be ashamed by agony, trauma, transition, adversity, trials, and tribulations.  Set your past free, you are abundance, and I challenge you to walk with the dignity of yourself;  become your true authentic self & never allow the noise to take you off your path. Stay consistent, be bold, fearful, motivated, be influential, powerful, be empowered so that you can encourage someone else, seek guidance, and understanding. Pray for discernment to know better, become slow to speak, and use your ears to listen more than you speak. Put all pride aside and be teachable, let go of all hurt, pain, and those who wrong you. Remember, you’re no longer defined by your past. You are resilient. Put your trust in God; & bet on you for once and love yourself inside and out. Speak Life as a ruler over yourself and a steward under God. From Sister to Sistah, Woman to Woman I share my Untold Truth. I want to give honor to God for never leaving me nor forsaking me. Lord, you are so amazing! To my Mother, Sister, and Brother’s thank you so much for the love and support, and of course last but not least my children Aquantae, Adarius, Derwin, Harmonie, Messiah, and Ivy for always believing in me. During the rough times, we endured & to my first-born daughter Aquarius!  Mommy miss and love you so much! Thank you, for coming to me and my dreams, letting me know that everything is going to be alright. Of course, much Thanks! To my friends and family who NEVER stopped believing in me. Thanks for the shoulder to cry on, a listening ear, and a couch to sleep on when I didn’t have a place to go. Thanks to everyone who followed and became inspired by me.

        Yours Truly,

     Ms. Ashley Tubbs

    ACKNOWLEDGMENTS

I want to acknowledge my Mother (Roshunta Tubbs) for giving me, tough love. I use to think that I was a failure to comply with the basics fundamentals of life. I know there is no master course or textbooks to life. Life has patterns and cycles to it. Just like a box of chocolate, you never know what you’re going to get, & it’s up to me to stay the same or change. I’m more of a hands-on person and had to learn the hard way (I learned from my experiences).  I understand why you always said to do things that you didn’t do and not what you did.  I realized that the things you said weren’t meant to be degrading. You want the very best for your children. I remember back in grade school we would always have to write about our superhero, and why? What I want you to know is, regardless of what happened and the things that had been said; Mama, you will always be my superhero! I love you, Mama!

I want to acknowledge my friend Jennifer Fitz for helping me with the title of my book, I remember back in 2019 sitting on my living room floor trying to come up with the title of this book. I would’ve never come up with such a title like this one. I have to be honest, the encouragement you and Monique Hollins gave me at a time where I was at my lowest, helped me to find strength, and I pull it all together. Thank
