Insights from Chapter 1
#1
Astrology is a language that can be used to understand yourself and your circumstances. It is not a science, but it is a valuable tool for understanding yourself and your relationships.
#2
The zodiac signs are based on the seasons experienced on Earth. The zodiac wheel opens with Aries, signifying the spring equinox, and ends with Pisces, after the Sun leaves its time at the end of winter.
Insights from Chapter 2
#1
Astrology is a very deep subject, and because I know you’re lovesick, we’ll keep this brief. There are twelve signs on the zodiac wheel, and the distance between two signs speaks to the kind of lessons that couple will experience.
#2
A astrologer would read the information in more complex ways than any Sun sign compatibility book could give you. The book is a first step to understanding astrological compatibility, and it is a fine last step as well.
#3
The recommendations in this book should be done with people who have given you their enthusiastic consent. A sober, mutual, continuous yes is needed. And if you have to ask more than once or if you find you’re trying to persuade someone to do something, then there's not enthusiastic consent, it's pressure, and it's predatory behavior.
Insights from Chapter 3
#1
Aries, the first sign of the zodiac, is a Fire sign and an independent leader. They are constantly learning how to put their strength and leadership to productive use.
#2
Aries is a pioneer and a leader who takes no one's bullshit. They have incredible willpower and are inspiring to be around. They're optimistic, but they don't just sit back and assume things will get done—they make things happen.
#3
Aries has a fiery temper, but don’t tell them that. They may blow up if they are confronted with the truth. They have a hard time slowing down and learning to look before they leap.
#4
Aries is a champion of the underdog, and they will fight for love, even if all the odds are against them. They want to be with someone who believes in them, and they don't care about being worthy opponents in love.
#5
Aries is a fearless person. They are extremely fun loving, and they don’t care what people think of them. They are unafraid to make a statement, and their clothes are often over the top, but sometimes they can surprise you in something totally casual.
#6
Aries is a spontaneous and impulsive personality, and they'll give you their number before you have a chance to ask for it. Don't delay meeting them in person for too long, or they'll move on to someone else quickly.
#7
Aries, a pioneer, is always discovering new things and finding something to be excited about. They want to share these experiences with the people they care about, so expect to be given a tour of the places Aries is inspired by and interested in on your date.
#8
Aries long to be number one,
