    When I arrived at the camp, I was greeted by a smart van that took me the few miles to the camp. I was excited to be closer to the war, and I was content and resigned. I had no anxieties about a future or need for foresight.

    I learned that pilots went to an elementary flying training school for basic instruction on a simple type such as the Tiger Moth, and then to the Service F.
