Saszor (or Shashor)
orla In a silver field a red eagle with wings spread upwards, but without a head, the rump of the neck decorated with a six-pointed golden star; Helmet decoration: five ostrich feathers. About the origin of this coat of arms, which was probably introduced from Hungary and is called Szaszani there, it is said: The ancestor, who came from a princely family, had killed his brother in revenge and was therefore asked to headless the eagle that he had in the family coat of arms in the future to lead; Descendants of his who distinguished themselves in the field were then awarded the gold star instead of the eagle's head. This coat of arms was also called Saszor and Szaszor, also Opola, Opala and Zapale in Poland. The same lead the:
Bardzki, Bukowski, Chobieniecki, Chynka, Gielbowski, Gieraltowski, Gorajski, Grabowski, Jarogniewski, Kielbowski, Lgocki, Ligocki, Myslinski, Olszewski, Orlowski, Osnicki, Pacewicz, Palczewski, Przetocki, Placzynski, Rogowski, Salmonowicz, Saszowski, Szarszawski, Wielamowski, Wilamowski, Wojenko, Zaloga, Ziemborowski.
Orla glowa. In a golden field a black eagle 's head (orla glowa) with neck and part of breast, with open beak and tongue out; Helmet decoration: the coat of arms image. This coat of arms is used by:
Gwozdziecki, Myslanski, Nasierowski, Oppersdorff, Pikolar, Stablowski. However, the coat of arms was changed by the Oppersdorf family, who received the Polish indigenate in 1663: the eagle's head was silver and crowned in red.

Paprocki and Bielski say it is the same house as the Sasowski family. Jan Gierałtowska of the Coat of Arms of Orla, a courtier of Emperor Maximilian, led several thousand people in Hungary among his own people, a dignified and vigorous man; killed in Vienna by the treachery of a certain count, in great mourning for the Emperor, buried in Vienna. Bielski fol. 643.

One of them is Wojciech from Goraj, whom our writers liked under the coat of arms of Korczak, who signed the Januszów Confederation under the interregnum in 1382. in the stat. f. 74. Gorajski Wojciech, Krakowski, pastor of Poznań, Regent of the Crown Chancellery 1656. signed royal letters Histor. Coll. Krak. fol. 820. His uncle was a castellan, Princip. philos. Moravia. A brother of Wojciech Dadzibóg, he had Anna Mielżyńska behind him, and he had a son Adam, who died young, and three daughters. Jadwiga married Jan Radzewski. Zofia lived firstly with Jan Dzierżykraj, the Moravian castellan of Przemęcki, and secondly with Ludwik Ostrowski, the starost of Gniewkowski. Anna died a virgin. The second brother, Łukasz from Poznań, 1666, from Żychlińska, fathered four daughters: of these, Katarzyna was for Władysław Michał Skoraszewski, the Poznań standard bearer, the second for Wacław Twardowski and after his death for Aleksander Rogaliński.
