Preface
Gen.44:1-5: Now Joseph gave these instructions to the steward of his house:
Fill the men’s sacks with as much food as they can carry, and put each man’s silver in the mouth of his sack. Then put my cup, the silver one, in the mouth of the youngest one’s sack, along with the silver for his grain, And he did as Joseph said. As morning dawned, the men were sent on their way with their donkeys. They had not gone far from the city when Joseph said to his steward,
God after those men at once, and when you catch up with them, say to them. ‘Why have you repaid good with evil? Isn’t this the cup my master drinks from and also uses for divination? This is a wicked thing you have done.’"
The final chapter into the puzzle for the brothers of Joseph has been planted, they did not know what have hit them at that moment, nor have they expected to be set up for this, the final puzzle to their deliverance and freedom. We all get to the point where we are at our final destination before we get delivered from something or before we are taking a direction the Lord has set apart for each of us. This book is for those at the point of giving up before the final chapter or within the final chapter has outplayed itself before your own eyes. I was reading this chapter and the Lord opened my mind to see this message and I just had to start writing about this because I believe the Lord what His people to know that it is not over yet because the final chapter still have to come before the victory. Just like the brothers of Joseph we are at a point where everything is turning against us and we don’t have any direction just like David and just like Elijah who also come before the point of their own final chapter. We will be looking at different people from the Bible and also I will be talking about my own experience at my final point and I believe I am currently at that point right now. What I have learned from the years and how this decision I have made has change my whole life. This is personal for me and I hope that you will enjoy this book as much as I am right now in writing it. It is definitely a book that will change your whole life and how you see challenges and how you will address all issues within your own life.
I have come to the point where I cannot anymore and I just wanted to give up, it is as if everything is turning against me and nobody understood what is going on within my life. I came to a standstill in my life and this is where I am right now finding my way into the crazy world and in this worldly noise that surrounds me. I had just like the brothers of Joseph and Joseph himself need to get in line with what the Lord is busy with no matter if I am at my final chapter, this is what the Lord is busy with, victory and deliverance all over our lives. We will start at the beginning of the life of Joseph and his brothers in order to get to the point of the final chapter in their lives.
Dedication
I dedicate this book to all my fellow believers in Jesus Christ. It has been a long journey to get to this point. It was great to be part of this project and to also learn from it while busy with it. The Lord took me on a different route with this book and I can say if it wasn’t for the Lord where would I be. Also I want to dedicate this book to all young people who have the calling upon their lives be sure that the Lord will carry you through the rough and nasty roads of life. Be blessed and keep your focus on the Lord.
Acknowledgement
This is the part I want to acknowledge the Lord in giving me the direction to start this project but most of all to finish it in such a short time. It all was the presence of the Lord and the Favour of the Lord that surrounded me during the writing of this book.
Secondly I want to acknowledge the Holy Spirit for the direction He took me with this book and the times He showed me where I was during the times and the opportunity and guidance He gave me to repent and sometime just to thank the Lord for keeping me.
Thirdly I want to thank my lovely wife for all the times she stood by my side even when it looked that nothing will come of it, she remained faithful to the course and to our marriage. Thank you again for being my biggest critic and biggest supporter as well.
Lastly I want to thank my children for the passion they show towards the work the Lord has bestowed upon us as a family. It feels good to be the father of children who not only do the work of the Lord but understood what it means to be called into ministry. I love you and will always be proud of you.
How can I forget, the little congregation I serve the Lord in with so many great children of the Lord. Thank you for being part of your life and being part of the service, thank you for allowing me to sometimes speak into your lives with the word of the Lord. I do appreciate you all and I am learning from each and every one of you. The Lord Bless you all.
