ABOUT THE AUTHOR
PART 1
1
I walk into my new workplace, a bustling delivery depot. Everyone is wearing a taupe uniform. Trucks are idling and men are piling packages along the dock.
Men, I say, because they're all men. Like me.
Well, not exactly like me. I'm a man with a pussy. Not too many men have one of those.
I take peeks at the handsome features of my coworkers. They're all absolute hunks.
One man on the dock sneaks up behind another man who's carrying a package. The sneaker suddenly grabs the package carrier's ass.
The carrier drops the package with a resounding crunch. Then he turns around and slaps his aggressor playfully. The two men giggle.
There, by the trucks! Another man approaches his coworker from behind. He grinds his crotch against the man's ass.
Damn, these men are all horny and gay. And I swear I see more than one guy making eyes at me.
Joke's on them. With clothing I look like a regular man. Without clothing they'd know what I really am.
I arrive at the office where I'm supposed to check in. Inside there's a man sitting at a desk with a pair of empty chairs in front of it. His close-cropped hair is a silvery gray and he has a very fit body under that dapper tie and button-up.
He looks up from his work and grins. Hi, I'm Charles,
he says, motioning me over. I'm the supervisor here. Take a seat.
I sit in one of the empty chairs. Nice to meet you, I'm Darcie,
I say.
So you're the new hire. Glad to have you on board,
says Charles. This job is an important one, you know.
I know,
I said, nodding.
We're key to keeping people connected to each other. We deliver supplies, letters, checks and gifts. We're the lifeline for the uninfected.
It's quite a responsibility,
I say, mentally checked out. They went over all this in the training class.
Charles plants his fists on the desk and leans forward with a serious look. I am particularly happy to hire a former woman.
Um. I blush and look down. It wasn't exactly secret. But I didn't see why we had to talk about it.
Charles leans back sagely. I only hire guys who I can trust to keep their heads if they run into any ladies at the gates.
He waves his hand at the open office door. Through it I can see the gay antics of my new coworkers as they load up the trucks.
My boss smiles ruefully as he takes in the scene. If any of them have ever slept with a woman, I'll eat my floral tie.
He taps said floral tie, a vision in turquoise and blush, as it rests around his neck.
Charles turns his eyes away from the door and meets my gaze. I've paired you up with Jonathon for your first day. You'll love him.
I nod. I'm ready, sir.
Good, then get out and find Mitch. He'll show you to your truck assignment.
I head out and see a large muscular man waving people here and there. His name tag says Mitch.
I'm Darcie, just started work today. Do you have my truck assignment?
I ask him.
Oh, so you're the new meat!
he says, staring at my body with approval. A little small in the drawers, but nobody's perfect.
He leads me to my truck for the day, twirling his hard hat the whole time. Just wait here for Jonathon,
Mitch says.
Sitting in the passenger seat of the truck, I watch Mitch skip away. There's still some men bustling about but no one headed to the truck that I can see.
I lean my head back and close my eyes. I think about three years ago. Right before I got the virus. I was a normal young woman. Never would have guessed I'd be in this situation.
Infected with a highly contagious virus. A virus that gets men real sick. And kills any woman who catches it.
Except for a lucky few. Like me.
I look down at my now-male body. My pussy, between my legs. It was great to have as a woman, but now? Everyone thinks it's weird. Best to keep it a secret.
The driver's side door opens and a man slides in.
Hi, I'm Jonathon,
he says, his voice deep and confident. You must be Darcie. Ready to get to work?
Shit, he's hot. My pussy floods with desire.
Yes, sir,
I say, trying to keep my voice steady. His good looks are making my head spin. And the smell of his deodorant is driving me wild.
Jonathon starts up the truck and pulls into the queue out the yard. His practiced movements on the stick shift remind me of the stick I don't have.
He's gay, I tell myself. Gay like everyone else here.
I'm familiar with how men gossip. Every single one of them knows I have a pussy by now.
Jonathon won't be interested in my pussy. It's practically a requirement of the job.
My pussy doesn't care. It's slick with arousal, while my clitoris is plumped up like a minicock.
I lean back. Nothing wrong with simply enjoying the drive with a hot stud at the wheel.
At least being horny will distract me from my first glimpse of the uninfected since I left their ranks three years ago.

We approach the first gate on our route.
The gate is a tall, imposing structure at the end of the block. On one side live us, the infected. On the other side live the uninfected.
We live in
