About this ebook

I was having way too much fun to waste my time on something silly like a job.

My dad has other ideas, though, and arranged for me to get a job at his best friend's law firm. I thought I had it made working for Patrick. I've known him half of my life and figured it would be easy to slack off, and given his relationship with my dad, who would dare complain?

But when he finds out how I’ve been acting at the office, he decides I need to be punished. And the spanking is just the beginning!

    About the Author

Personal Assistant for My Dad’s Best Friend

When I bent over the bottom drawer of the filing cabinet to put away a folder, I made sure that I stuck my ass out to put on a good show.

A couple of really hot guys worked in the office, and I’d been trying to get their attention since I started working there a few weeks earlier. So far I hadn’t had much luck. Maybe they thought I was too young, or maybe they were intimidated because their boss is my dad’s best friend. Either way it sucked for me, since they were the high point of my work day.

About a month ago, my dad had decided that I needed to join the workforce. He said that since he had bought my car and was paying for me to go to college and for my rent, the least I could do was to get a job to pay for my own phone and gas and stuff. He had a point, I guess, but I’ll be honest—I was having way too much fun to waste my time on something silly like a job. I had taken a light course load that semester and my friends and I were partying pretty much nonstop.

Unfortunately Dad isn’t very understanding about things like that. When I called him to wheedle some cash out of him, he put his foot down.

Ashley, if you had a job you wouldn’t need to keep coming to me for money.

I rolled my eyes. I know. I’d be too busy working instead of having fun so I wouldn’t need money.

Damn it, Ashley, you’re eighteen years old. High school is over. Why don’t you grow up a little? Life isn’t just a big party.

Why shouldn’t I have a year or two of fun before I have to get all serious about life?
