problems accrue when we
confuse how a woman looks
with who she is
as a man I did a lot of inexcusable
actions that only became evident
to me as I became older and
introspective and hopefully wiser…
what happens when we sit down
with ourselves and ask
is this what I had in mind for me
is the answer ever yes
what happens when unimportant me
wants to be important
can this me
find a better me
introspection requires us to be
an interested spectator
of our own life
can anyone understand us
and
love us anyway
can anyone roam about those
dark protected areas
of my mind without thinking
I am crazy
why must we clutch
desperately
to our fantasy
