About this ebook
Colonizing planet Harmony without technology took a lot of planning. Developing psychic abilities wasn’t part of the plan. It’s coming up to a year. The time when the colony ship is programmed to return from Harmony to Haven. It will take back anyone who found life on Harmony too hard. Toxic plants, dangerous predators, awful weather; those who remain have a lot to overcome. And something strange is happening. Some of the colonists are developing weird psychic talents. What they don’t realize is that Harmony is where the next stage in human evolution begins.
Andrew Elgin’s Harmony series tells the story of changes in the human race which begin on Harmony and spread to other worlds. If you wish you had psychic talents or the ability to live in total harmony with Nature, the Harmony novels will delight and inspire you. Download Finding Harmony, the prequel novella to the Harmony series, and begin the journey today.
Andrew Elgin
Andrew Elgin grew up in England where he studied history and enjoyed philosophy and played with computers. The things about being human which couldn’t be as easily explained, such as intuition, began to fascinate him more and more until, in the end, he decided to stop teaching and explored the ideas which attracted him more.Whether in short stories, novels or nonfiction, Andrew seeks to make this ‘other’ aspect of being human the foundation of what he writes. He firmly believes that to become fully human is to discover and develop this hidden natural talent for ‘knowing.’ He seeks to entertain with his writing, but also to present an opportunity for you, the reader, to explore the undiscovered territory within you.

FINDING HARMONY
Hold it! Hold it! Don't let it slide!
Faydra was clinging on to a rope along with several others trying to stop the timber-loaded sled from careering away downhill. The rain was still bouncing off the ground and the run-off had formed streams of liquid mud, one of which had found the sled; the weight of it combined with gravity doing the rest.
Faydra's feet could find no solid ground and her hands were numb with cold. She along with four or five others, including Alick, slithered forward and would all have careered downhill with the sled if they had not let go.
The ropes writhed as the sled skewed around and the end of one caught Alick a blow on his cheek as they all watched the precious timber accelerating away, crashing into the rocks halfway down, disintegrating the sled and spewing the timbers further down the slope.
Faydra crawled over to Alick. He was sitting up holding his cheek. When she reached for him with one muddy hand, he brushed it away. Leave it. It's bad enough as it is.
She squatted beside him in the mud feeling cold and miserable. But the weather wasn't solely responsible for her emotion. Earlier, Alick would have been grateful for her concern. He would not have brushed away her help. He would have smiled and held her hand. But he had been more and more distant these past days, more angry.
She had asked him about it once over a meal when, unusually, there had been no-one else at the table they were eating at in the half-finished communal room.
What's the matter?
Nothing. I'm just tired from all the work.
He hadn't looked at her.
We've all been working too hard for too long. But it seems as if it's more than that. Is it something I've done?
she had asked.
He had answered with a surly shake of his head and tightening
