1 Hidden Mansion
Somewhere in Louisiana, in the backwoods and out of sight of modern society. There was a big mansion that looked like it had once been white or at least a lighter gray. That hadn’t been lived in for years. Standing proud in its surrounding trees.
This long forgotten mansion holds a secret that only the grounds knows about. For it only hears the whispers of the past that are stuck there. An entrapment for those that have never left the estate.
One day, on a day like any other. A group of young adults had found their way onto the estate. They had spent a while walking through the forest around the long forgotten estate. If there sweaty clothes and dirt covered shoes had anything to say about it.
Look at this place,
one of the young ladies had spoken with wonder. Once the group had seen the secret and faraway place. It's so beautiful...
The more she saw the place, the more she felt disbelief. I can’t see why no one is living in this place like this.
She looked at the man next to her with wonder in her eyes. What do you think, Sean?
As she pulled her strawberry blonde hair back. Her green eyes shining with wanting to explore the place. She wore a sage button up shirt and tan shorts. Along with boots and backpack.
The young man standing next to her. With short dark hair and green eyes, gave the place a thoughtful look. He shrugged, not really caring one way or another about the place. It’s just an old house, Elizabeth,
Sean grumbled. He wore a white t-shirt with khakis, along with his own boots and backpack.
They weren’t the only two that were traveling through the forest. Along with them were eight other people. Four other girls, along with four other guys in their traveling party. They were all friends from high school that decided to go traveling together.
Wouldn’t it be fun,
another young woman spoke with warmth in her voice. If all of us could live in a house like this.
A giggle left her lips. It would be like having a lot of brother and sisters in one big house.
Her black hair pounce at her excitement.
Yes Emily,
another woman stated with a slight irritating tone. She had walked far and not really caring about anyone feelings. She pulled her long dark red hair out of her blue eyes.
She went on to say, It would feel that way, wouldn’t it. If we did happen to live in the house. Some of us might end up marrying each other.
Causing the girls to laugh at that declaration.
I doubt that every much, Ramona.
One of the other guys spoke up. Why on earth would we want to marry you silly girls.
His voice sounded destined to even imagine such a thing. His ginger hair waving with the light breeze.
Girls, I think we’re not good enough for any of them,
stated another female voice with a glare of her brown eyes. What spitting words they were, David,
her voice a little harsh. Before turning towards the strawberry blonde with a spark in her eyes. Elizabeth...I dare you to go into the house, even though it may hold ghosts.
Elizabeth, don’t do it,
quivered a lady’s voice. What happens if those stories that we heard were true?
Her amber eyes pleading for her friend to listen. Her dark blonde locks were bouncing as she was trying to get her friend to listen to reason.
The group had heard a few stories about a long forgotten mansion that no one knew where it was.
