The Essential You or How to Optimize What You Are Being, Doing and Having
()
About this ebook
This book began as a study guide for clients working with me on a life improvement program. It was intended to lay out the program’s concepts in micro as well as macro scale and later to be an “as needed” reference so clients could continue to build on their gains.One client remarked that reading the study guide before starting the program cleared up some lifelong confusions. It was suggested that it could be fleshed out a bit and offered as a standalone resource. The only belief system needed for this program is the belief that one can improve. I hope you find this book useful in optimizing your being, doing and having in the game of life.

This book began as a study guide for clients working with me on a life improvement program. It was intended to lay out the program’s concepts in micro as well as macro scale and later to be an as needed
reference so clients could continue to build on their gains.
One client remarked that reading the study guide before starting the program was very instructional and cleared up some lifelong confusions. It was further stated that I should flesh it out a bit, and offer it as a standalone resource.
The information and protocols in this book are a synthesis, influenced by many sources. The only belief system required to succeed with this program is the belief that one can improve.
This program has been successful time and time again. Whether you believe any of the concepts herein to be true is wholly up to you. I only ask that you that you withhold judgment until you have applied them.
If they work and life gets better, does it matter?
I hope that you find this book useful in optimizing your
Being, Doing, and Having in the game of life.

BE - DO - HAVE in a GAME
Everything in our lives can be described by how you are BEing, DOing, and HAVEing.
The state of Being someone or something begins when an Identity or Being -ness is assumed. Prior to assuming a beingness in a game, one is only an observer, aware of being aware.
In the Game called life, You and your body together have your name as an Identity. Let’s imagine for a moment a character named Pat. People who know that character use the name Pat as an identifier. That identity is modified by other beingnesses, doingnesses, or havingnesses. For example: Pat the catcher on the softball team, Pat the parent, Pat the spouse, Pat the nurse, and Pat the neighbor are further examples of modified identities.
Doing refers to action;
