#1 I want to give my kids the confidence to dream out loud. I want to show them that ridiculously good things do happen, even if they seem completely unbelievable. I was given the opportunity to do something with my creativity and passion, and I want to give that to my kids as well.

#2 When you articulate a new dream, you should receive a response similar to Philip’s. He took care of dinner and got the kids to bed, and then drove me around town so I could think. I returned home with a gas tank on empty and my mind on full blast.

#3 I had to cook two or three meals a day to meet my birthday deadline, and I was still missing a good camera and a smartphone. I met a character named Brian Hardin, who was experienced in filming and editing, and we worked on six videos together.

#4 I launched my first blog, Sticky Cook, on April 26, 2010. I was so proud to have seen this project through, and grateful for Brian and Philip and Jo who had helped me make it a reality by my birthday deadline.
