The Sacred Seven - Tim Brown
Tim Brown is one of the most determined young Christian men that I have been blessed to know. Tim is not only passionate with regards to the game of golf, but his passion and love for Christ and the word of God go to the very core of who he is and how he has raised his family.
— Rev. Larry Smith,
TH.D Theology
Several years ago, I joined a Bible study run by Tim Brown. I was a newly-minded Christian struggling to incorporate faith into my daily life. Tim was not only a teacher by word, but most importantly by example. He not only taught the Word but lived it in his daily life.
Being able to hear him teach and watch him live has helped me transform my life over time in a way that has made what could have been temporary into a way of living life every day for the rest of my days. I have the most beautiful relationship with my Father, the creator of all things. I can recognize how He shows up in my life all day, every day.
Most importantly, Tim has taught me that my struggles are an opportunity to draw closer to God each moment of every day by moving from a flesh-driven place to a Spirit-driven heart for God. I am the luckiest of people to be taught by one who lives the Word of God.

and my three incredible children.
Kim, my beautiful wife,
thank you for never giving up on me.

Introduction
The Car Ride
He has declared that he will set you in praise, fame and honor HIGH ABOVE all the nations he has made and that you will be a people holy to the Lord your God, as he promised.
— Deuteronomy 26:19, NIV
In the early 2000s, I took a job teaching golf full time at the beautiful English Turn Golf and Country Club on the West Bank of New Orleans. My wife and I moved to New Orleans in December of 1999 and spent the coming years falling more in love with the people, the culture, and of
