Sandi Niven

Sandi was born in South Africa and came to salvation in 1982. She is an ordained and commissioned Apostolic Prophetic Teacher. Her ministry spans close to 40 years, of which the past 25 have been full time. In 1995 the Lord called Sandi to full time ministry and sent her to the United States. She lived and itinerated there for over 4 years before returning to South Africa for 2 years. At the beginning of 2003 Sandi took up the call of God to the British Isles and moved to Aberdeen in Scotland where she was based for 9 years. Sandi has also ministered in Australia, Romania, Northern Ireland, England and the Republic of Ireland. In 2013 the Lord called Sandi back to the United States for 4 years. While there, she was commissioned as an Apostle and the Lord recalled her to the United Kingdom to base in London where she currently resides. Besides preaching and teaching, Sandi has successfully run a Prophetic School as well as Prophetic and Prayer Seminars. Sandi has been a key speaker at conferences and her ministry has involved planting several interdenominational ladies' groups. Sandi is also a mentor to many who are entering the ministry.

PROLOGUE

Never has it been more important to expose the Ahab spirit than at 'such a time as this'. Whilst Ahab gives Jezebel authority, she will continue to hold open the door to Divination and every other demonic force the enemy can throw at us.

When the Lord recently spoke these words, Divination is rife in the world today, I realised that writing this book was all the more urgent!

Divination is rife in the church and therefore rife in the world around us. Just watch the 'fake' news in all forms of the media.

Not only is the Church playing Ahab to that Jezebel spirit but so is the world and while we sit in ignorance the enemy gains ground.

The false prophets are fomenting violence and, while the church allows them the platform by playing Ahab to that spirit, it will only get worse!

Sadly, we are the reason for the season!

The enemy will always overplay his hand by revealing, in a negative way, what God is wanting cleaned up. This needs to happen, firstly, in His Church in order that she, through prayer and anointed witnessing, can begin to affect society around her.

It's time for the true Elijahs to arise, to challenge these demonic forces and pull down the spiritual 'Baal' temples and altars in order for the world to see who The One True God is.

Whilst Ahab is firmly on the throne, with Jezebel at his side, ruling in his stead, this will not happen. And whilst Jezebel is ruling legally, she will continue to hold the door open to divination.

To have a greater understanding of the spirit of Jezebel we need to dig deeper to recognise, not only which spirits operate with her but who gives her authority. We need to know how to strip her of that authority, individually as well as corporately, and then to deal with her cohorts, as she certainly does not operate alone.

Once we have done this within the church, we will begin to effectively change society around us.

It is essential that we rightly discern, and then deal with, these demonic forces in order for the Body to survive the trying times ahead. My hope is that this book will be a tool in the hand of the reader to do just that.

Which brings me to the title of this book. I believe Ahab, the least spoken of character in the scheme of things, is the main culprit for the authority Jezebel has in the earth today. If we can expose this spirit, we can begin to effectively close the door to these pervasive forces of darkness which are shutting out the voice of God's true prophets and bringing divination into the Church and into the world today.

As this book is primarily written for the purpose of study, I would caution you to check the scriptures yourself. So, along with Paul, I exhort you, especially where I have only used references, to read the scriptures yourself

– study to show yourself approved!

INTRODUCTION

It's time for Ahab to die!!

For years I have heard many teachings and have read many books on the subject of Jezebel. Some made sense but, although they blessed me, left me feeling something was missing.

Having also counselled for many years, I have often come across, and dealt with, the Jezebel spirit. And, just as often, I questioned why people never became totally free. No matter how much binding and loosing we did – how much deliverance ministry – some just never seem to be free of this spirit.

I call it cropping grass. The lawn looks great once it's mowed, no weeds visible, but within a short period of time it needs doing again! Because the root is never dealt with!

The reason being, most teachings deal with a Jezebel spirit, but seldom does anyone address the Ahab spirit, the very spirit which I believe gives Jezebel authority. Neither do many of these teachings address the spirit of divination - Python - who is the fiend and strongman to whom the Jezebel spirit opens the door.

The first thing I need to clarify is that we are dealing with spiritual characteristics, or traits, of demonic forces. These are neither male nor female. In other words, just as the Jezebel spirit is not gender specific, neither are the Ahab, Python or any other spirits. I'll explain as
