About this ebook

This book covers the attributes of Jezebel.

Jezebel demonstrates a pattern that she follows within a church.

—She attaches herself to the leadership of the church.
—She creates soul ties with the hurt, wounded, and discontent members.
—She has prophetic words of personal prophecy, which inevitably produces spiritual pride.
—She has a private ministry, outside of the consent of the church leadership.
—She looks for a position in the church—
a position of authority, not service.
—She seeks information about what is happening in the church and in member’s lives. —She abhors any form of accountability for her actions.

Author

John H. Robertson

John spent 10 years in the ministry, as a deliverance minister at first, then as a Pastor of Calvary Full Gospel church, in Teague, Texas. He was taught a lot during those years, through his mentor, Pastor Earl Anderson, who fed John’s unquenchable thirst for knowledge that burned in his spirit as he read God’s Word. In time, John ministered to inmates in the Limestone County jail, had a television ministry, as well as ministering online.. He believes that this book will present a wealth of information, not only from what he was taught studied, and read, but also from his own personal experiences, for those who are seeking information as he did, when first getting started as well as help for those who are already in the ministry. John presently lives in the Streetman, Tx area, is married to Joann, with four sons between them. He grew up in Louisiana and Texas, was raised as a Southern Baptist and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Education from the University of Southwestern Louisiana in 1976. He obtained additional training in Belief Therapy from the Therapon Institute located in Humble, Texas.

    JEZEBEL

The Person, the Spirit, & the Principality

For many years I have heard the term Jezebel thrown around many times. For the biggest part of my life, the term was used to characterize a woman with loose morals, a seductress, a manipulating woman. Then as I began to minister around deliverance teams and churches, I began to hear the term Jezebel Spirit or the Spirit of Jezebel being tossed around also. To imply that the woman being attached to the term was a controlling, flattering woman who tried to seduce the men around her, either figuratively or literally. (Or spiritually or physically)

As my experiences grew, and I began to come into contact with more and more people, I began to realize that a female controlling spirit predated the woman Jezebel. So, the term was not valid in its use as a demon, but rather it was a manifestation shared by several strongmen mentioned in the scriptures. It was rather confusing to me for quite some time, whether they were referring to the attributes of a female, or the manifestation of a demonic presence. The truth is the terms became so blended that even the people throwing the terminology around were not able to separate the two. I believe that in deliverance circles, when someone is trying to cast out the spirit of Jezebel, they are calling out a manifestation of a strongman, because the bible does not mention her as a strongman. Actually, in the book of Revelation, Jesus speaks of her not as the wife of King Ahab, who promoted the Canaanite religion in Israel, but her name was used symbolically for a false prophetess who led people into literal and spiritual fornication, which really covers a wide field of corruption.

Before I was able to comprehend the whole Jezebel topic, I had to begin with separating Jezebel, the person, from Jezebel, the manifestation of evil spirits, and then Jezebel, the substitute name for Ashtoreth, which is actually a principality (evil archangel) that stands over and attacks ALL CHRISTIAN CHURCHES!!.

In order to comprehend Jezebel, I went back to the beginning of her life and started with the gods that she worshiped. Maybe you will be able to get a much clearer picture as I did, to help you understand more fully, who and what she is, and more importantly, how to defeat her!

    Dagon

Dagon was known as the god of fertility (erotic love and lust). He was thought to have died and been reborn. Other names for Dagon are:

    Rider of the Clouds

He was the god of rain and storms

    god of the Heavens

Which means he was also the

    god of the Horoscope

Dagon was the primary god of the Philistine people, with the torso, arms, and head of a man and the lower body of a fish. He was worshiped as the father of Baal. In Samuel chapter 5, you will find where the Philistines brought the captured Ark of the Covenant to Ashdod and placed it in the house of Dagon. The next morning, when they walked into the house of Dagon, they found the statue image of Dagon had fallen down lying face down, or prostrate, on the ground as though worshiping before the ark. The people, who discovered this, took the statue image and set it back in place once again. The next morning when they arose and walked back into the house of Dagon, they found the statue of Dagon with his face on the ground as they found it the day before, but this time however, they found the idol with both palms of its hands and its head were broken off, as if cut off, on the threshold, only its torso was left of it, so it had fallen and was dismembered.

    Baal

His name is translated Lord. He was the supreme male god of the Phoenicians, and he was a Canaanite nature god, he too, being the son of Dagon, was a fertility god (1 Samuel chapter 7). Other names for Baal are:

    Exalted Lord of the Earth

    Lord of the City

    God of the Heavens

When Aaron sculpted the golden calf, it was with the intent to worship Baal.

Acts 7:42 "Then God turned, and gave them up to worship the host (stars) of heaven,
