A Personal Conviction Disclaimer
I have a personal reverence for the Lord, which will stand out in this book. Out of profound respect, I capitalize the pronouns when referring to God, Jesus or the Holy Spirit (even in scriptural reference). So though it may be grammatically incorrect, you will see capitalization of the following words throughout my writings: He, Him, His, My, Mine, You, and Yours.

As creative artists, we should direct our worship vertically toward the Lord.
It was a catchy phrase, and I thought everyone would be excited about the new theme. Then the Lord gave me a vision for the logo. He showed me the words Vertical Worship on a cross. The word Vertical
was to be on the upward beam with an arrow tip, representing our (mankind) position as we reach out to God. The word Worship
was to be on the horizontal beam, representing God’s outreach to the world. Next, He gave me the scriptural reference Colossians 3:1-4, which I had the artist place in the arrow tip of the cross. Below is the entire passage: "1 If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. 2 Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth. 3 For ye are dead, and your life is hid with
