    This book gives you step-by-step instructions on how to draw different kinds of vehicles. Perhaps you’ve already leafed through the pages and found the drawing that you would most like to commit to paper? Now go for it!

    Make sure you have to hand a piece of paper, a soft pencil (2B-4B), an opaque white pencil (or a tube of opaque white and a fine brush) and a soft eraser. All materials are available from an art supplies shop. If you have difficulty drawing straight lines free-hand, you can use a ruler.

    Now you are ready to begin the first stage of your drawing. Do not press too hard on the paper with your pencil. Draw as lightly and gently as possible; this means you can easily make any later changes and rub out any guide marks. As the proportion, that is the ratio of width to height in the drawing, and the distance between the wheels of the vehicle need to be established in the first stage, it is very important to draw these lines with great care, precisely
