It had been three months since we had gone to a wedding, three months since we started something that had no turning back, nor did we want it to. Sonia had decided to wear it in secret, she said that she gave it a halo of mystery and she made it more fun, in that she had to agree with him. We looked like two teenagers hanging out in their spare time and then soon home.

I lived in two different worlds, Sonia's world full of good times and good sex and, on the other hand, Laura's world, which little by little was fading away, she was becoming more surly and distant, and sex was practically non-existent.
