Chapter 1
Our story begins in Pineville, specifically in a house in the center of the cul-de-sac at Thirteenth Street. It is a large Victorian-style house with earth tone colors, stucco walls, and shaded by several aged oak trees. This house is unique, stands out amidst the brick-faced houses on Thirteenth Street, and is perfect for the family that lives there, The Superelles.
The Superelles is a family that one can describe as unique. Well, unique in the neighborhood. It had been a few months since the family of five moved into the area and it was clear that they weren't natives. The neighborhood families led a slow-paced lifestyle while the Superelles were so busy that you would almost think their home was a fast-food drive-thru.
The father, Wayne, is a psychologist and owns a life coach and personal training business. The mother, Maria, is a business development manager at a local firm. Their three kids, Athena (14), Tank (13), and Gabby (11), are very active. Athena runs
