This autobiography includes a story of a woman who went through many trials and tribulations in her life. By holding on to her faith and never giving up, that got her through some life-and-death situations.

This book is about a woman whose life you might describe as a roller coaster with many bumps and bruises. She faced death numerous times in her life due to sickness and events that happened in her life. She still found the strength to go on with her life and raise her three beautiful kids.

Another devastating trail she went through was losing her precious son at the tender age of thirteen years old and not to mention the sickness that struck her as I mentioned before. She was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer at the age of forty-five and beat it. This book was written to inspire other women and men all across the world, who might be going through similar situations. This book was written to inspire people all across the world to take back their lives. Take back your power, knowing that you can be or do anything in life if you work hard at it. It’s not about if you can do it. It’s about when you do it. Take charge of your life. Become the best version of yourself. And one last thing, the sky’s the limit. The message is to never give up and always hold on to your faith. If you dream it, you can achieve it.

My Testimony

They Tried to Kill Me, but God Had Other Plans for My Life

The Bible says, Have you believed because you have seen me? Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed, knowing that no matter what you’re going through, God is always there. Having faith is also proof that God got us, and he’ll work it out. Having faith doesn’t mean you pray to God about something and still worry about it. Once you hand it over to God, there should be no more worries. I know it’s easier said than done, and that’s where your faith is tested.

It says in God’s words: In all circumstances take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming darts of the evil one (Galatians 3:26).

We will all experience trials and tribulations in our lives, that is one thing we can’t escape—we will experience illness, hardship, challenges, financial problems, death, and a host of other situations.

I’ve experienced all the above and some, and I’m still here, only through God’s grace and mercy. In my book, you will read about how I made it through some of the most challenging life situations.

When I share my testimony with people, their response is wow! How could one person go through so much and walk around with their head up and a smile on their face? Well, my answer to that is here’s my secret: when I want to cry, I take a look around and see that I’m getting by and I hold on because I know a change is coming because God told me so. I’m just a testimony of God’s mercy and grace.

I am sure that all of you who are reading this can look back on your lives and see that there have been challenges and situations you’ve faced and got through. That is a sign that life has gotten a little bit better for you.

God never said we won’t face hard times and storms in our lives. God said all you need to have faith is as small as a mustard seed, and we all know that a mustard seed is very small.

God could stop any storm coming into our lives. But the storms are there for a purpose. There will be times in your life when you will be tested for no reason. The storms are there to build you, to strengthen you, and to encourage you. The storms are a reminder to us that God is always there, just like the last time. If he did it for you the first time, he’ll do it again.

Sometimes, God will allow storms in our lives to get our attention so that he can elevate us higher, maybe to prepare you for the next chapter in your life or to just be a testimony to someone else. All the storms, no matter what they are, are just testing your faith.

If you read the Bible, there are tests and faith all throughout the Bible. And I believe that the stories are there to give us directions and lessons on how to deal with the storms in our lives. One great storm in the Bible is of faith. In the book of Matthew, Jesus directed his disciples to get into a boat and go across the sea. They boarded the boat, and their journey began.

But in the middle of the night, a storm came upon them. And because it was night, the storm appeared to be even more threatening. The sea was rocky, and it felt as though the boat was going to turn over. They couldn’t see anything. The disciples were very afraid. Everyone on the boat thought surely they were going to die!

But below was Jesus who was peacefully asleep. The disciples didn’t understand how Jesus could be sleeping through all this.

Didn’t Jesus know what was happening?

Was he aware they were all going to die?

The disciples awakened Jesus, asking him how could he be sleeping when death was so near.

Jesus arose, went up to the top of the boat, and waved his hand and said, Sea, be still, and the storm calmed. Jesus faced his disciples and said where is your faith?

In this example, God used a terrifying situation such as a storm to test his disciples’ faith. We too are Jesus’s disciples, and our faith will be tested as well from time to time.

This story serves as a reminder that no matter how dark your situation is, God is always there. When it seems like life is over, God steps in.
