    Newborn Mother

    Noun

A recently born mother whose strength is asking for help. She acknowledges that the birth of a mother is more intense than childbirth, and that she is as sensitive and vulnerable as her baby. Her heart is wide open and her needs are high. As she nourishes herself she nourishes her children.

For my children, Harriet, Albert and Clancy who have taught me so much about being a Newborn Mother.

With deep gratitude to Ysha Oakes, Vasant Lad, David Frawley and Robert Svoboda for sharing their Ayurvedic wisdom with me. And with warm appreciation to my husband, parents and parents-in-law for supporting my work. It takes a village!

And to my wonderful recipe testers:

Rebecca Baylosis, Jenny Beale, Lisa Balbi, Fiona Hutchinson, Leanne Tololeski , Deanna Corso, Susan Martensen, Kelly Harper, Kristy
