INTRODUCTION
Firstly, I would like to state right here right now, that none of the moves described herein are my own. Yes, that’s what I said. Believe it or not neither are the techniques shown in all the other so called self-defence books and manuals circulating around out there at the moment. You see, the truth is there is nothing new the wheel has already been invented.
But, what you do have are variations of how certain techniques and fighting methods have evolved over the centuries up to the present day in order to make them usable on the street, on the battlefield or where-ever you may find yourself at the time, needing to defend yourself against a unprovoked violent street attack or even these days a terrorist intent on doing you harm.
Whilst, I can point you in the right direction to what works and what does not in the end it is entirely up to you whether you follow my advice or not.
However, I like many others today, have tested certain techniques for real and can say that they do work. Again it’s entirely up to you to decide if what I say is valid. What I will not do though is fill your head with fluff or hundreds of different martial arts moves that not only will confuse you but are also ineffectual in real-life fighting.
I only want to give you what is tried and tested. Some people might say that they have spent many years learning a particular type of martial art I say really! Well actually I was one of them, but that’s another story. The fact is, I was savvy enough to realise and understand that it does take many years of training and dedication to the said art in order to acquire certain skills and make them work efficiently on the streets and in back alleys of some of the darkest places in the world.
I am in no way putting down any martial arts training on the contrary, I fully support all that it stands for indeed, I applaud the dedication of both students and instructors in their task so that they all become better citizens. The trouble is it is exactly the way the martial arts are taught that could become a problem when and if the crap hits the fan. So what do I mean by that?
Simply, the no first strike mentality taught in martial arts clubs, if you are not hitting first in a street confrontation believe me you are on your way to losing. I’m afraid, defence is not an option. You either run away if you can that’s the first option and the best advice I can give you. Forget your ego and leg it pronto, well away from danger.
Really, that is all the advice you need to know there is no winner in any fight everyone is a loser, the only thing is some lose more than others sometimes, even there life. If you have no other option then pre-emptive strike is the only way to go. BAM! Be first, or you already
