The reason for this is simple: smokers cling to false hope that these medical conditions will never affect them. They come up with all kinds of rational explanations to continue killing themselves while reasoning that it’s better to enjoy life with cigarettes than suffer without them.
But this reasoning is based in illusion. Smokers don’t actually gain pleasure from smoking. People may tell themselves that smoking calms them down, but this is not true. Cigarettes are a stimulant and increase a
