She continued to stare at her cell phone. Flabbergasted and surprised. Her throat felt like it had fallen into her stomach, and she felt her eyes begin to burn as they filled with tears.

It’s over, you’re just too fat.

She was furious and angry, but also really sad and ready to fall into self-pity. She had loved him! How could he just end it? She hadn’t heard from him all week, perhaps this answered why.
