For you, my fellow courageous explorers, brave survivors, dream weavers, and lovers of life, this book is my offering to you from my spiritual heart. I invite you to step aboard the Universal Express, a train that will take you to lands of mystery and magic from the comfort of your armchair. As you step aboard, through the door labeled with the luminous heart, I will meet and greet you on the other side.

I have written this book to honor and validate my own earthly life experience by way of reverence to everything that I have walked through on this, my humbling and achingly human life path. It is with a warm, appreciative, and compassionate glow in my heart that I lovingly share this collection of poetry and stories with those of you who are ready to hop aboard and ride with me. May my words offer you resounding resonance and gentle comfort in your times of need or strife. And may the stillness beneath them speak volumes to your soul.

I want you to know that you are not alone as you journey through this magnificent and sometimes messy and chaotic adventure that we call life. Throughout the course of my own life, which has been a journey of catapulting highs and, at times, devastating lows as well as everything in between, I have come to realize that the Divine is guiding us all at all times. So if you are feeling lost, empty, or alone, then rest assured that you are still being held right now in this moment by an unimaginable higher force. It is guiding you at every moment of every day, whether you realize it or not. The signs and symbols of this guidance are all around you. I invite you to gently open your eyes, soften your gaze, and awaken into the wider everyday reality before you, and you will see.

Despite the road being long and winding, despite the often unbearable pain and suffering that we—each and every one of us—go through, Divinity has prepared you for all that is present, all that is still to come, all that ever was, all that ever will be. You may take a pause and rest now for you are, in truth, already home.
