Healed and Whole - Laura Charlene
Chapter One
The Devil Just Doesn’t Want to
Make You Sick: He Wants to Kill
You
The thief does not come except to steal and to kill and to destroy.
(John 10:10) Have you read this verse in the Bible? This is only the first part of the verse. I remember the words of the evangelist Jesse Duplantis, who said at his Visionary Conference, The devil doesn’t just want to make you sick: he wants to kill you.
Do not ever believe God wants to teach you a lesson and make you sick. Do not listen if someone says to you, "It must not be God’s will to make you well. It is always God’s will to make you well." Do not listen to the devil’s lies. I’m thankful for the Good News in the second part of John 10:10 in which Jesus said, I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.
Abundant life means abounding in fullness of joy and strength for mind, body and soul. The following is my story of God’s healing power. You can receive the same!
I had a 10 cm tumor that had developed on my left breast.
Laura’s 10cm tumor that was healed can be found on her website.

The tumor was 3 cm on the inside and 7 cm on the outside of my breast. I was prayed over and anointed with oil by my minister friends Brian and Donita. Reverends Jesse and Cathy Duplantis sent me a letter letting me know they were standing in agreement with me for my healing. I also continued to read the Bible. I stood firm in my faith and knowledge that God heals. I know that God also uses doctors. I made an appointment with my doctor. She immediately sent me to a surgeon.
When I arrived at the surgeon’s office, it did not take him long to say he wanted to remove both my breasts. When I heard those words from the surgeon I said, That’s not God’s best for me!
I left his office.
What came to mind instead was when Jesus went to the cross for our sins and sickness and took it all on Himself. He was beaten, bruised and whipped 39 times. His hands and feet were nailed to the cross and His side was pierced. They never removed any of His body parts! I’m keeping mine! God, I need to hear your voice out loud.
I then remembered the time Jesus had to take the man out of the city to heal him because there was so much unbelief. I prayed to the Holy Spirit for wisdom and decided to return to Charis Bible College where I had attended school for two years. The college was open to the public for healing services on Thursdays.
While attending Charis, I had been part of the prayer team for one year. I had seen miracles and healings before my eyes. I asked God that when I got to Charis, He would direct me to the prayer minister for me to hear His voice. I already saw myself well and fully expected to be healed.
I arrived in Colorado Springs and met up with some of my friends. I had called one of them, Nancy, ahead of time. She was so gracious! She had me stay at her home. We went together to Woodland Park where Charis is located.
It was a good feeling walking the halls of Charis Bible College. At the healing service we had praise and worship and a wonderful sermon from Daniel Amstutz. I was then called
