A BAD FEELING

Walking back from the playground with my daughter, Lacey-Maye, four, we were worn out.
‘When the baby comes, I’ll push him on the swings!’ Lacey-Maye said with a huge grin.
‘You’re going to be a brilliant big sister,’ I said.
My partner, Chris, and I couldn’t wait to have another little one.
Also, we could tell that Lacey-Maye was over the moon that she was going to have someone to share all of her toys with.
The pregnancy was fine, other than some brief issues with dyspepsia which was caused by my acid reflux and dehydration.
Only, one morning, when I was 32 weeks pregnant, I woke up feeling nauseous.
‘It must have something to do with the takeaway we ate last night…’ I suggested to Chris.
