Second to water, tea is the most highly consumed beverage in the world. But what makes it so popular? Tea has a naturally bitter flavour, depending on the type of plant it is steeped from, and it has a unique aroma. Most importantly, however, tea can provide a wide variety of health benefits including, perhaps, a reduced risk for cancer and enhanced protection from other degenerative diseases. If you are curious to learn more about tea including its history, preparation, and different types, this book is the perfect place for you to start.

Tea is a delicious beverage, often served hot, that is made by steeping the leaves of certain species of plant in hot water. Second to water, tea is the most highly consumed beverage in the world and it has been enjoyed by humans for many centuries. Though real tea is made from the leaves of the Camellia sinensis plant, so-called herbal

Not only does tea have a unique flavour but it is known around the world for providing a wide variety of health benefits. Tea contains valuable antioxidants which may help to reduce your risk for certain types of cancer – it is also an excellent source of polyphenols which help to protect your body against degenerative diseases. Different types of tea have their own unique sets of benefits as well as their own flavour and aroma.
If you have ever wondered where tea comes from or what kind of benefits it can provide, this book is perfect for you. Within the pages of this book you will receive a wealth of information about tea including its history, its side effects and benefits, its preparation, and the many different types of tea. By the time you finish this book you will have a firm understanding of not only where tea comes from and what it is, but you will have learnt which types of tea provide which benefits and what they taste like.
