It gives me great pleasure to know that John Lewis lived among us on this great planet earth. He is the epitome of love, honor, courage, and tenacity. John gave of himself to globally impact humankind. His humility and kindness is warmly cherished. Deep appreciation extends to John for all that he contributed to the advancement of vital and valuable agendas.

John Lewis has graduated from this earth realm. Immense gratitude flows for what remains, of him, for us to retain and to build upon, admiringly.

President Barack Obama delivered a magnificent eulogy at John Lewis’ funeral.

Obama was poised, elegant and penetrating with his words. His demeanor was such that an enormous amount of people long for more of his presence in this land of America.

Surely, globally, righteous and decent folks miss Obama’s presence on the world stage.

Yes, indeed he’s missed in major and deeply meaningful ways.

John Lewis was a giant of a man with the soul and heart of a lion. He bravely protested indignities forced upon our people. He endured assaults, jail, persecution and hatred. But he kept coming forward in the causes for justice, equality, civil and voting rights.

John Lewis was a real man who helped to define the meaning of love, courage, dignity, tenacity and solid rock power in human form. Yes, indeed, John Lewis fought a good fight and he won — not just for him but for us who align with his righteous pursuits.

It’s now up to us, who remain, to carry the baton in this relay called life. We can triumph despite odds, and critics. We can gain victories in the midst of turmoil, uncertainties and obstacles. We can successfully and effectively accomplish, regardless.

Salutes to John Lewis, a freedom rider, civil rights activist, and Honorable Congressman.

Note: You'll notice that some of my quotes, in this book, include times, dates, and planetary days/hours. Some entries don't have those inclusions because when I composed those particular quotes I didn't note the times, dates and hours.

Note: For those who purchase my e-books via Apple, note that there may be a few blank pages before the e-book content resumes. All of the text content is there, but appears after a few blank pages occur. I made sure that the subject issue wasn't with the copies that I submitted for publication. I googled and learned that other people noticed blank pages in their Apple e-book copies. The issue is with Apple -- not sure if they'll resolve it.

Some folks are in denial about their authentic callings. Thus, they are stuck in ruts of dissatisfaction. Why aren't they content? Because they're in where they don't fit in.

The remedy is to discover authentic placements and to learn how to rock steady where they truly belong.

Also, in this current climate, I urge people who need to work full time to also research how to successfully gain in -- side hustle endeavors.

September 21, 2019 -

Yesterday I saw a brief video of live footage of a woman who was kidnapped and held in a truck. She said that, during her ordeal, she was thinking of her daddy who had passed from this life.

Her hostage situation was broadcast live on TV. In her later telling of the horror, she said that she didn't want her children to see her die on TV.

I forgot how long the woman was held. The police were out on the roadway aiming to negotiate with the hostage taker guy. In the telling of her kidnapping, the woman shared that, after awhile, she heard a voice, who she knew was her daddy, say these words, It's now or never.

It was then that she bolted out of the truck to where the police were waiting. She was safe.

When I watched that video and the woman said that she heard her daddy's voice instruct her, it almost moved me to tears.

About a month ago, I was out in the early a.m., before 7 a.m. I was on one of my photo op selfie missions that I, typically, start before 7 a.m. That timeframe is before trash collection, and lawnmower noises, and before a lot of people are out walking, jogging, and bike riding.
