Mindfulness for Kids - Grace Cohen
Introduction
image-placeholderDad, can we buy the new XBox Series X? Please? They just released it today and I heard great reviews!
Dylan exclaimed. He was using his puppy-dog eyes as additional reinforcement.
Dylan, don’t use that on me. We just bought you a gaming console last month. I don’t think we should buy a new one,
Peter sternly told his son, in between typing his reports.

commanded Peter.
Dylan strutted off to his room, smashing things along the way. He slammed the door loudly and began wailing loudly and flailing his hands wildly. Peter could hear different objects being slammed to the floor. Whenever Dylan didn't get his way, he would be this destructive. Peter just allowed it because he didn’t want to give in. But he also wanted to help his son control his anger. Could there be a better way he could teach his son to handle stress?
image-placeholderIf you think that only adults can get stressed, think again. From the moment we are born, we are already subjected to various stressors. Babies cry when they feel hungry, children throw tantrums when they don’t get their way, and adolescents sulk when
