About this ebook
Lurid had began as a typical demon. He’d gotten the chance to act human and get the benefits being human could give. It was also the chance to mate a human female that he wanted desperately. Was it wrong to take this chance and have a better life if he also helped his males? His males said to do it so he did. He was now Lou.
Nancy had her husband taken from her and had been impregnated with his seed. Lou gave her a safety line and a possibility to love but she was scared. Should she grab a hold of him tight before he got away so she, her daughter and the baby on its way had a family or let him escape and live in constant regret?
Could they make this work or would they both suffer from letting it go?
Crystal Dawn
When she’s not out hunting rogue vampires and werewolves, you can find Crystal Dawn out exploring the galaxy. She can do it all without ever leaving her computer. She kicks ass, takes names, and puts it all down for the enjoyment of her readers. At least that’s what I think she told me. Writing came as a natural outlet for her overly creative mind. She has always told stories and even written some but publishing books didn't start until 2012 with The Rebirth, was the first of the Planet Amazon books. Crystal has also been lucky to have some wonderful beta readers who keep her on track and help inspire her.Secretly, she crushes on all her sexy heroes because all her stories end happily. That is one of the things that makes writing such a joy. Knowing that it makes her reader's day a little brighter. Not that she doesn't read sad books sometimes. While still in school, she read Where the Red Fern Grows and cried like a baby. It was a wonderful book and sometimes a bit of sadness has to be put in books because that's part of life. While she reads all kinds of books at some time or another, PNR and SFR, which she writes is what she reads the most for pleasure. When she started writing, she decided on going Indie after the first two books because an author has more control. She believes Indie will compete well and continues to grow. The need to give pleasure to her readers keeps her going and she sees a long career ahead. Growing up mostly in the NW Arkansas area, it has given her a good place to set some stories and many of her characters come from there or nearby SW Missouri. The start of her stories is the easy part. Finishing them is a little harder when all the stories are in there trying to get out. She loves reading, chocolate, fine sweet wine, and traveling among a large list of pursuits. Her favorite people, after her family and close friends, are her readers who she says are some of the most wonderful people in this galaxy and the next.

Zeus began the first series of the gods and demons. But Lucifer broke away and began a whole new series. Now Lurid begins another series that goes along with the demons.
Frozen Origin 1
Zeus
Origin is the best in the field of DNA research, and they have finely tuned their craft. They started out with a line of supermen pulling all the best traits from the millions of human DNA samples they had available to them. These supermen were the smartest, fastest, strongest, and most adaptable the human race had to offer, but Origin wasn’t satisfied. When they expanded their facility in Antarctica, they discovered something that made the next level reachable. These were the gods, so far beyond the abilities of man that even with some of their gifts still undiscovered, they put the supermen to shame.
Origin managed to get by with enslaving the products of their research for years until they rented the talents of those products to terrorists that used them against the US and her allies. A team was sent to free them, and they were allowed to be an independent entity, free to rule themselves. They had much to overcome, and Origin wasn’t ready to give them up yet. Origin fought hard to recover their losses, but the gods fought harder to remain free especially once they realized that they could have a mate and children when they find the right woman.
Book 1
Lucifer
Even the best in the field of DNA research still had those creations that didn’t quite turn out as hoped for. Those were considered mistakes, abominations otherwise known as the demons. Lucifer was their king and led them to a better, or at least tolerable life. While demons could fight like, well devils, they couldn’t be seen by humans. The people would go crazy if they saw horns, tails, and wings.
The funny thing was these beings had talent, amazing abilities. They could sing like birds and write the songs everyone wanted to hear. Another surprise was that if people thought the horns, tails, wings, and ridges were props, they loved them.
Now Lucifer had brought in a manager for their band who knew their secrets and the scary part is he wanted her for more than her management talent. He’s running the other way more scared than he’s ever been. Will she catch him and make him see that they need each other, or will he cause her more pain in his attempt to be free than she can ever overcome?
Danger also circles and they need to work together to escape it and be free and happy. Would Stef manage to catch Lucifer and remain unharmed through the danger that she has to face?

Prologue
As a young one, he had known hunger and deprivation. But when they were very young, they had been together in a nursery. It was funny that most gods and demons could remember those first few years when they had all been mixed together just like brothers with those of their own ages. As soon as they could crawl, they did so together mixing and mingling until Origin decided they didn’t like it.
At that point, gods were divided into squads and demons were lonely onlys. All by themselves, their care was inferior and those fed decently were only the ones elected to experiments that required good food. Some were put on starving regimens to see how much they could do without. This was discovered when they died. The scientists would scribble down results then they could all see the body being dragged down the hall.
Few held any love for the demons and even those showing love to the gods often did them no favors. Origin didn’t like it and when caught, the scientist and subject as they were often called, were punished. This time sometimes both scientist and subject were punished to the death. That discouraged not only the behavior, but accepting the favors offered. Life had definitely taken a turn for the worse.
That turn continued until some demons showed skills that could be used that saved some costs for help that had proven unreliable anyway. In all demon facilities, demons began to cook, clean, and now he was even being trained in a skilled role as a lab assistant. His life had improved, and he was doing his best to improve life for
