About this ebook
A rich woven tapestry of Caribbean verse on birth, life, death, and the emotions that occupy the spaces between those transitions.
Like the butterfly, we seldom know what we will become. At some point in our life we are cocooned in the darkness of the unknown to emerge a different but not always new being.

- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5These poems speak to my soul. I digested every word.
This anthology is a great addition to my books to read when I want to meditate about life.
Soulful and soul-searing. - Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5This anthology is pure word magic, shadow and light, stillness and movement.
The poet manages to fit the reader into a cocoon where trust in your ability to transform without assistance is paramount to your development.
We all have transitions and most times these are accomplished away from prying eyes of the world and very often in solitude.
This anthology gives me an opportunity to reflect, retool and prepare for my own Transition. Five worthy stars.

LAMENTATIONS
Hey you.
You made me wrong
Yes You did
You made me wrong
How?
Because I cannot be Christ-like
I cannot go through torment
He was prepared for that
I am not,
You sent me to this world
Unprepared
He had been preparing for centuries
Since the dawn of time
I cannot remember
If You prepared me
I cannot remember
If I was with You in the beginning
Was I there?
To see the earth formed and inhabited?
Did I walk and talk with You?
Did I see Him die?
Did I cry?
He knew beforehand what was to come
I do not or I cannot remember
So You made me wrong
He had no choice
Even if He had a brief moment,
A moment to have wished it all away
He did not take it because He knew
I have choices
But I cannot see where they lead
Is that right? Is it fair?
How much pain is enough?
How much hurt can one take?
This vessel You created
Is cracked, dull and leaking
It is unable to hold anymore
It is unable to withstand anymore
So You made me wrong
Am I fixable?
Can You right the wrong?
If You can then
Fix it Lord
Fix it Jesus
I am not perfect like
