Joseph "Joe" Harris received a scholarship to Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta, and was inducted into the Georgia Institute of Technology Hall of Fame in 2000.After graduating from Georgia Tech, Joe was drafted by the Chicago Bears in the 7th round, in 1974. Also drafted that year was the legendary Walter "Sweetness: Payton!In the NFL, Joe had the honor of playing with players such as: Willie Harper, Archie Reese, Freddie Solomon, Cedric Hardeman, Al Collins, and "The Juice" O.J. Simpson.He also played for the Los Angeles Rams where he stayed from 1978 to 1983.
