The Calling

In a world of souls, you will hear my whisper.

When I write with passion, looking at the river.

I restore my soul when my words are flowing.

When I tell my stories, you will see me growing.

I embrace the world when I voice my mission.

When I paint my mural, you will see my vision.

In a pool of thoughts, you will find more peace.

When I send the message, that will never cease.

Concrete Rose

Tireless and restless, hiking in the park.

It is time to write until it gets dark.

I resurrect a dream that was on my mind.

I travel the world for my love to find.

I soon take a break and look at the sea.

Walking on the beach, happy that I’m free.

The wind blows so hard, fragrance in the air.

Oh, that smell was sweet and was very rare.

Time to turn around and confront my fate.

My heart is wide open; there’s no time to wait.

Beautiful and tall, and her eyes were brown.

Swimming in the ocean, you would stop and frown.

My heart beats so fast, and I’m feeling weak.

I trained for so long; now it’s time to speak.

She now walks towards me, and she starts to wave.

I soon start to run, proving that I’m brave.
