Protecting The Frappe - Samantha Rae
Chapter One
IsaBelle Kincaid Kingston grew up a rich girl. She hated it. Picking the name Belle Kincaid was a way to piss her father off and not be associated with his life. Belle’s oldest friend, Shawna, was the only one who truly knew everything. They used to hide together in the closet eating food that wasn’t allowed, neither fitting into the rich girl mold. Skinny, beautiful, and dumb. Belle was anything but dumb; with the help of the inheritance her grandmother Rose left her, she was able to start the youth center. Belle and Shawna’s grandmothers were best friends, Shawna’s Grandmother Vivienne meant just as much to her as Grandmother Rose meant to Belle. They were classy ladies; everything that Belle wasn’t. She couldn’t deal with all the bullshit that came with being a child growing up with a silver spoon up their ass. Shawna had gotten out, but Belle stayed involved with the family drama. Shawna always said that her favorite thing was to piss off her step-monster, Doris. Belle’s father, Jason, decided to marry Doris shortly after her mother’s death. The family told everyone that her mom died during a retreat. The real story is that she died when Botox exploded in her head, causing a massive stroke.
The Addam’s Family theme song came from inside her purse. Belle didn’t need to look at the screen to know that it was Doris. She rolled her eyes before answering the call.
Doris, I didn’t know monsters could come out before noon,
Belle snorted.
I’m going to ignore your snide attitude,
Doris snapped. Have you talked to you father?
No Doris, remember I’m the black sheep of the family,
Belle snapped.
Well, he didn’t come home last night,
Doris said.
I can’t help it if dear old Jason has decided to trade you in for a younger version,
Belle chuckled.
I was concerned, but obviously you don’t care,
Doris snarled.
I care just as much as he does,
Belle snapped.
Fine, you’re still nothing but a spoiled brat,
Doris yelled.
The call disconnected which was a surprise, Belle would have expected to hear a much longer rant than that, Doris usually is the queen of drama.
Siri, call Coffee King,
Calling Coffee King,
You’ve reached Jason Kingston, the one and only Coffee King. I’m unavailable at this time, but leave a message after the tone.
Dad, it’s your daughter, IsaBelle. You’re getting lazy in your old age, you were always better at keeping your cheating ways hidden. Call Doris, she actually sounded worried about you.
Belle pulled into the parking lot of the youth center, not giving her father or step-monster another thought.

Kane Steele could barely open his eyes. He felt a body move next to him. That’s when he knew he drank too much. He never had women spend the night. Kane felt fingernails scrap across his leg, grabbing on to his semi hard cock.
Hey babe, I’m a little sore from last night, but I definitely could suck you off,
the woman said.
Sweetheart, don’t think this hard on is about you. I’ve woken up this way since I knew what if felt like to come,
Kane growled.
Come on, babe. I want to feel you come in my mouth,
the woman begged.
GET THE FUCK OUT OF MY BED!
Kane snarled.
Fuck you, asshole! You were begging me last night.
Kane finally took a long look at who he brought home. The woman may have been beautiful last night when he was wearing his whiskey glasses. This morning she just looked ragged; her lips were a lot thinner without the lip stick, the once bright green eyes were now hollow and dead looking.
There’s money on the table at the door, if you need money for an Uber,
Kane snipped.
The woman had shoved her heels in the huge bag she called a purse, looking at it now he realized she was going home with any asshole last night. He just happened to be the asshole of the night.
Kane, you’re an asshole,
the woman slammed the door behind her. He noticed that she didn’t mind taking his money.
Kane leaned back against the wall. His head was throbbing, he needed to quit doing this to himself. Every time he started to get his shit together memories would start clouding his mind and he’d go down that whiskey bottle to try to get away from them. Kane heard the phone in his pants ring on the floor; knowing that it could be important, he dragged his ass up.
Kane,
he answered.
Daddy, I know who you are,
the little voice laughed.
Kane’s smile was real for the first time. Hey baby, how are you?
I’m good, but I miss you. I haven’t seen you in so long,
the voiced whined.
Kane laughed. Cassidy, I saw you two weeks ago.
It seems longer,
Cassidy said. When do I get to see you again?
I’ll be picking you up today,
Kane said.
Yippee, I can’t wait! I love you daddy,
Cassidy yelled.
Kane laughed, these
