There is an old saying that goes, May you live in interesting times
. It is thought to be a Chinese proverb, although no actual connection to Chinese writings has been established with any certainty-at least none that I have found. Looking back at the past twelve months, you could certainly use the word interesting as a description. If you let your mind go just a little, I’m sure many other adjectives come to mind. Some of those adjectives probably are not neutral or passive.
It has been a brutal experience for some. It has been deadly for others (my deepest condolences to those affected families). For most, fear is a
