About this ebook

Being faithful when in a relationship is difficult already when trust is broken, and having the kind of friends my wife had, they would advise her to “Get rid of him. Once a cheater, always a cheater,” and given all that was going on, I can’t say that I blame them. It’s just a fact that about 60% of cheaters reoffend because some attractions will never go away. When your spouse discovers a reoccurring betrayal, it sends her a message that you neither regretted the offense nor seriously intended to change.

I was a man in my mid-40’s, married with two children. My wife began to suspect I was interested in someone and looked for clues of my deception. She found an online name and address for a chat room and began sending e-mails as if she were interested in a “hook-up.” Not knowing the messages were actually from my wife, Corey arranged to meet me her for coffee. When confronted at the coffee table, Corey made the perfect apology to my wife. He expressed his guilt and admitted that it was his first time engaging in activity like that and he merely wanted to test it out and see what it was all about. By testing it out, he meant meeting someone online @ Black People Meet and My Space. He gave no excuse or defense for me having wronged her, telling my wife she had every right to feel hurt. It was Hard for her to come to grips with the fact that her man, her husband had fallen in Love with a man and was cheating. “So me and your family wasn’t good enough? You had to have your cake and eat it too?” asked Wendy. Well enjoy ALL OF THAT!! I Hope you are prepared to GET THEE HELL OUT!!

    THE INTRODUCTION

    From Beginning To End

All relationships have rules, but sometimes those rules get broken. When we are in a relationship, we expect that our partner will keep our interests in mind even if he or she is tempted to disregard the rules. When the rules are violated, the wrongdoer is always put on blast to give an account for his or her behavior. Sexual infidelity is the epitome of rule breaking and can disrupt or end any meaningful relationship.

I know something about breaking rules because I was married with two children when I unexpectedly fell in love with someone else. All of a sudden, things shifted inside my head, and I went from thinking one way to a whole other extreme and nothing could explain what I felt.

There are only three things that I love more than my suites, my ride, and my job and that would be my wife and two children. Some may say I had an arrogance about me, but I am a man who is used to getting what he wants. By most measures, my marriage was good. My wife and I were best friends and had an exceptional sex life, our chemistry was potent and when it was time, my wife would succumb to my lustful desires of her.

Most would say that sexual infidelity is not the ultimate betrayal; the lies used to cover the offense are far more damaging. I made my wife feel a mixture of emotions: anger, hurt, righteous indignation, and at one point she even wanted to get revenge. In any relationship, marriage or other, lying erodes the trust that forms the basis of a successful relationship and I had become a professional at it.

My wife had become suspicious of infidelity because things were disrupting the normal day-to-day functioning of our relationship. Even though I was the offender some days I would become angry, critical, or dissatisfied. I started to act guilty, anxious, or disengaged. Attention, including sexual, had decreased and my love for the other person was beginning to increase, and so was the amount of sex that we were having. I guess this is exactly what happens when trust is broken.

    CHAPTER ONE

    Everything That Looks Good

May Not Be Good For You

There’s one in every crowd, that person who can always be counted on to slyly, subtly bring the conversation around to sex. I’ll admit, most times it’s usually me, I like having fun and cracking jokes. I could blame the fact that I’ve spent the better
