I was born in a very small town called Grundy, in the mountains of Appalachia, Virginia. I grew up and received my education in Roanoke, Virginia, I was fortunate to have attended a very conservative and traditional college. Shenandoah Bible College was an extremely bible-based institution whose professors taught us the Scriptures, directly from the original Greek and Hebrew. I have been a licensed minister and Bible expositor for over 40 years, focusing my studies on the religious, occult, and the supernatural realms. My life's calling was to be a police officer. I advanced in my career to the rank of Police Chief. I was blessed with a very inquisitive mind. I also spent many years studying the Martial Arts and came to realize the traditional martial arts were not an effective form of self defense for most people. As a result, I developed the self defense art of Jokido Dim Mak, a highly effective pressure point based self defense system.

What you hold in your hand is the bare knuckle, pull no punches, no holds barred truth. This book was not written for those seeking a warm and fuzzy feeling. There are tons of politically correct, totally non offensive, I’m okay, you’re okay, books already on the market. The truth is, I’m not okay and you’re not okay, and this book will explain why. This book was written for the hard-core, don’t call me, give it to me straight, no-nonsense truth seeker. Written by a no-nonsense, go for the jugular, former law enforcement officer, personal protection specialist, and martial arts Master Instructor.

I have spent the last 40 years researching every word you will read in this book. It is my life’s work and my legacy. It contains the distilled essence of a lifetime of seeking, searching out the truth. It is not written to entertain the faint of heart. PREFACE

This book is written for those who are tired of being lied to and deceived by false political promises and religious jargon. Those who want to know the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth. What you will find in the following pages is the distilled essence of over 50 years of painstaking research and investigation into many subjects and issues that most find very difficult if not impossible to understand. The reason for the confusion, is because no one has taken the time to make these subjects and issues understandable, and this is the purpose for this book.

This book is not written for just layman or scholars, the educated or uneducated, the brilliant or illiterate. It is written for anyone and everyone who wants to know the pure and simple truth in language that is clear and understandable. In my youth, I struggled greatly trying to comprehend the more sophisticated concepts of secular and religious theories and higher education. I was not blessed with the opportunity to attend schools and universities offering the highest levels of academic learning and education, so I had to double my effort and uncover the truth for myself. God blessed me with a very inquisitive mind and that is the tool I have used to unveil what you are to discover as you read the following pages.

The name of this book, The Truth, answers the question that Pontius Pilate asked Jesus, What is truth? It was an excellent question, unfortunately, he didn’t give Jesus the opportunity to answer it. In the following pages, I will endeavor to answer that question. We live in a world filled with falsehoods and deceptions, with fake news, false advertisements, and sophisticated scams and con games of every imaginable kind all around us. It is like a labyrinth and maze of deception. You have cults masquerading as religions, and doctors and politicians pretending to be the wise and all-powerful magnificent Oz, while pretending to be wise and having the answers and cures for all the ills of mankind. The deception is so engulfing it is becoming almost impossible to distinguish fact from fiction, or truth from falsehoods. Making this distinction is what I have spent my whole life doing, confirming what is the truth and unmasking and exposing lies and illusions.
