Rolls of Dice (Blood In, Blood Out) - Courtney Harvey

    LAST CHAPTER OF COLA

    DICE QUEEN’S

    5 Months lata.....

Five months had now passed by and the month of December had begun. The final month of the year that we celebrate blizzered with love and happiness. Cola and Dice were beyond any doubt enjoying the spice of Christmas together. They made sure their first Christmas gave that back in the day feeling with a grown people twist.

The front yard was creatively memorizing along with the inside that they both conjointly decorated side by side. Numberless counts of gifts fenced around the beautiful tall tree they had placed in their living room.

Love developed quickly and speedily the further Cola entered each pregnancy cycle. The bigger their unborn grew the more exciting and expecting the pregnancy became. As months passed she fell in love with her appealing belly.

Pregnancy was doing her favorable. Her hair had grown thicker and longer, ass and hips got wider, and she even was blessed with that special glow to her face. She absolutely looked like a beauteous pregnant queen to Dice.

Something about her carrying his seed drew him to her in the most intamate way possible admiring every change her body went through for such a precious gift was very priceless to him.

In return Cola had to admit she was thankful for Dice. She was now seven months and he had never missed a doctor appointment or wic visit yet.

Dice caught hell at times but he was still there to show he was’nt leaving Cola or her crazy ass hormones side. He was indeed in it to the end making sure her demanding ways for whatever she needed or wanted happened.

He believed in making a bond before birth proving to Cola she was’nt alone with this pregnancy. Dice was’nt just an ordinary street hustla, he was a real man in the streets and at home.

Day break had just kicked in and Cola and Dice was at the doctor office for an appointment checking on their baby.

Awwwwe look at mama baby. Cola cooed with warmth pointing as her and Dice both watched their active unborn on screen. They watched impressively as their little one demanded all mommy and daddy attention.

Everything looks good Nyla. Continue to walk and eat healthy. It will help with the labor a lot. The baby is as active as the mother. She stressed. I’m going to set you an another appointment in about another two weeks. Dr.Smith informed while taking her gloves off.

So...is it ok if I shop for sure now doc? Cola asked.

Nyla of course it’s ok to shop. I’ve been telling you for the last past few months your baby girl is healthy and very strong. I know. I just get scared sometime at the thought of what if? Ya know? Cola asked with a serious discomfort face expression from her thoughts.

Baby you can’t think like that. Dice quickly answered to her rescue. Why did’nt you tell me that’s why you been throwing it off. What got this on your mind anyway ma? Well. I’ve been watching special delivery and I see what can happen with complications. Everything is going to be ok Nyla and this baby is coming very, very soon. Dr.Smith added rubbing Cola in the mid of her back in a very reassuring way. Listen to Dr.Smith baby and no more special delivery. We don’t have to worry about that. Dice said giving Cola a forehead kiss.

    She smiled in comfort.

Doctor Smith admired the young couple support for one another and relationship. Even the blind could hear the love this young couple had for one another. They were very cute together to her site. They had become one of her favorites during doctor visit.

I must say these type of thoughts are normal but don’t let them scare you. Here are your sonograms She handed the line of pictures to Cola with a smile. I’ll see you both next visit and would love to see pictures of the baby nursery and closet. She encourged trying to get the first time mother into shopping for the baby.

    She headed towards the door.

Oh. Young man She started off stopping in her steps. It’s hardly ever I see young black men active in their child life before birth. Let alone when they come into the world. Keep it up. I’ll keep it up. He answered truthfully.

With that being said she left out the room.

Cola could’nt believe she let her worse fear out so outloud and bluntly. She had to admit it did feel a whole lot better doing so instead of continuing making up different excuses. Actually blurting it out was a chest relief.

It was getting real obvious Dice was frustrated with the hold up. He was making fussing about it a habit. He got tired of hearing her say she was tired, her feet hurt and whatever else she made up to not go.

She was more than ready to shop the moment she was told she was carrying a little mini me. Dice started talking about the tools he would have on deck.

Though he preferred a son for his first child he quickly put that aside. The guessing game was fun while it lasted.

She smiled at the thought knowing their daughter would have Dice wrapped around all her little fingers and toes.

His love for her already ran deep but their baby girl had his blood running through her veins so the protection and spoilness would be something so unimaginable.

Say Cola. What’s up with shopping once we leave here? She was putting on her leather black gloves.

You know what baby. I’m ready. For real yo ma. Yes baby I’m dead ass serious. Good cause you have no excuses anymore. I’m glad you finally let it out. Why you did’nt say something to me? I always want to try and make you feel better. Trust me ok? I trust you. It was more of a thought thing. Well I can understand that doctor Smith said it’s normal. Now that all that out we bout to spend some money on our daughter.

    44292.png

Money was never a problem for Dice. Everything their baby girl needed she got it all in one day. Crib, clothes, diapers, car seat and etc. Baby girl room was going to be slayed out Minnie Mouse. Cola had gotten her baby all kinds of headbands and big pretty bows. Her little girl was going to be adorable. She seen her sometimes in her dreams.

They had been home for about thirty minutes and Dice had already unloaded the range and placed all baby girl things in the nursery room.

He was puffing on his blunt, reading the instructions as he put the baby crib together.

Drilling the baby crib together made him realize they were almost at the finish line and their lives would never be about them again soon. He knew his lil queen was going to change his life. He could already feel it.

Never did he think he would be having a daughter so soon. Kids at all rite now for that matter. It’s ite doe. This one and Cola good on me. He thought to himself like a man.

I’m glad we went ahead and got all of this over with. We had so much work to do that I had’nt noticed. Cola was hanging clothes in the closet. It’s ok ma. Better than never rite? Sho you rite.

They had managed to purchase countless boxes of huggies, baby lotion, wipes, bottles, blankets and other things baby girl needed.

Baby you gotta help me think of a name. I have’nt been satisfied with nothing I’ve come up with. I don’t want her to be like ma why you name me that? Cola laughed joking. I’m not naming our first daughter. That’s your special moment cause our first son I’m gone name him a Jr. No excuses. Now that’s what’s up we can let that happen. I’ll name him Jr. And our lil girl gone have a name by the end of this week watch. Thanks for the pep babe. Good. Now Mia can stop worrying me. She anxious about ordering customized shit. Her and me both. Cola added.

Once they were done with the nursery, Cola took a couple of pictures of every corner and sent them to Iesha.

Baby girl blessed aint she!!!!! Me and mama still planning yo ass a babyshower. Iesha txt back through text.

The more the merrier. We preciate yall love always. Cola replied back to her girl.

Iesha sent back the ok emoji hand.

Cola daddy hungry. Dice hollered from the living room. Ok mommy to. It was goin on seven and she was not cooking. Ite. How bout china love. Sounds good come on. Wait Cola hollered wobbling like a penguin towards the living room. I gotta pee. Alright, I’ll wait on you outside. Set the alarm on your way out. Ok babe.

Cola used the bathroom and washed her hands afterwards. Grabbed her purse and rushed out the door to eat out.

It had been a while since Keisha last seen Dice which lead her to stalking him. She refused to let him get away from her that easily. For the last past month Keisha had been sitting back and observing watching Dice and Cola home like a hawk. She hated the fact that they both shared a brick home together. Though she could’nt touch or speak to him something just as being close to his personal home excited her heart.

Keisha was officially obsessed with Dice.

Though she had been stalking him the moment was bittersweet and bitter out-weighed the sweet.

She cherished the sweet because she got to see his presence. Rage of bitter seeped through her eyes watching her love...love on Cola and her growing round belly that she badly wished she also had.

To Keisha it was so crazy how her life had changed because the one that was promised to her was stolen from her like a theif in the night.

But yet how is one stolen from you that never imagined or dreamed of you being their one. Or never led you on like you could ever be their only one day. Keisha was now so out of her mind that she had been poisoned by love. In her mind

Keisha Morgan was officially venemously enemies with Nyla Armstrong and she was ready to bite like the true snake she was saving herself by any means before she ever got caught.

Keisha puzzled together the best hit that could ever be thought of on Cola and her unborn. There was nothing more she goaled to do than take Cola and the baby from Dice life and rush to his side soon as the news had spread world wide.

Without a fact the story would go viral. Cola and Dice were one of the most loved couples in the streets. She was pratically his fiance in the streets eyes.

All kinds of love would be shown with daps and hugs to Dice druing his time of grief. But she would be the one to still console him when all the love stop being shown from everyone else.

Slowly and gently. Is how she planned to make it rite.

She would shower him with pure sweet love poisioning him to forget about Cola and a baby he never met. She would replace them with her and her’s. She could’nt wait to carry Dice love child.

Keisha finally made it to Dice home in a rental she rented to do her dirty work. She parked down the street just a little from the home. Both the range and mercedes were parked in the yard indicating that they both were inside.

Five mins into parking she saw Dice get into the driver side of the Mercedes he had gotten Cola for her birthday. Two mins later Cola rushed to the passenger side.

Once the door closed they cruised away and her phone started to ring.

A sudden of irratation crossed over her soul reading the name across the screen. Shameka was getting on her last nerve tryna rush things. Dice was a very smart man and she had to plan the hit thoughtfully if she did’nt want the evidence back firing on her.

Ugh what does she want now? Keisha blowed with fume.

Hello? It’s been five months since you came here about Rod’s death. Now you been havin me in this dumb ass hotel for weeks. Shameka ranted not giving Keisha a chance to talk. Bitch you softening up aint you? I mean like what’s up? She asked sucking her teeth.

Shameka had grown impatient and tired of waiting. Her patience was running slim and all she had on her mind was making blood shed. She had started hitting Keisha up on the regular too much.

Placing Shameka in a nearby hotel room around the block from Dice home was part of the plan of the motion. Telling Shamkea about Dice where abouts before time without thinking things through would fuck up everything. Shameka was so desperate to kill Cola that she was ready to die trying.

Naw I’m not softening up I’m just waiting til the time is rite. Keisha replied putting on a fake like she so cool with Shameka.

Well she seven months now apparently to your calculation. You need to hurry up or you gone be raising a step child. I’m not killing no baby outside the womb. Shameka bitched.

Shameka rite Keisha silently thought. Time is becoming now or never. Even she did’nt have the heart to kill the baby outside the womb and did’nt want to share Dice with no parts of Cola. Even if she was dead six feet under.

When you do this remember don’t hurt Dice. Let me handle him

Oh don’t worry I want him to suffer for the rest of his life. He gone feel a permenant pain just like me. She angrily snapped.

Not when I come into the picture Keisha thought. Her part of the deal was’nt Shameka business.

Long as that’s understood the deal is on. Give me a week or less and you gone be able to do this. Bet. I’m ready.

    They hung up.

    47003.png

Soon as they hung up the phone Keisha quickly used her time to make her plan have a play before they could make it back home. It was now or never. She got out of her car and headed to Dice back door. She was dressed in all black with her hoodie blocking her face keeping her head low.

The night was dark and the wind was cold. She shivered nervously at the door wiggling her credit card trying to break in. She sighed in relief once the door had unlocked. It took her a little time to unlock the door but she managed quickly.

Once inside the home she walked around jotting mental details of every corner.

She could’nt help but wonder why he never invited her over or even asked her to move in. Lately the more she dug into his personal life the deeper the pain ran through her body. She had been down for him longer than Cola had and way before he even had the trap.

She smiled remenissing them days. The good ole times. Back when everything was good between them.

    She toured the bedrooms.

The first bedroom she recited was Cola and Dice bedroom and it was a master. Next was Mia’s room. She had her room pretty girl decorated and one of what Keisha knew was Cola ultrasound on her wall.

When she made it to the room across from Dice and Cola bedroom she walked inside the nursery room. Her mind quickly went into a stance stare. Everything about the room touched her pores including the welcoming smell. She was distraut. The pink indicated Dice was expecting a mini Cola in her eyes. That fact alone she could’nt stand to her soul. Keisha shook her head as she knew the little girl would never know the hands of life or what it felt like to be showered as daddy’s little girl. Keisha rubbed on the baby crib slowly giving the room a moment of silence. She knew the baby was loved dearly already.

The closet was filled with clothes and neccessary needs while her bed was already screwed together for arrival. The nursery was full of love, minnie mouse and pink with highlights of gold. Though the room made her body stiff it was the one she spent the most little time into.

When the time was rite her mission would be complete leaving her on top as that down bitch for Dice.

    47005.png

Cola! I told you to make sure you set the alarm system before leaving the house. How did you forget? Dice fussed looking at the alarm noticing it had’nt been set. Sorry baby I won’t let it happen again. Cola said hating that she made such a big mistake. Dice did not like big mistakes. You should’nt be so careless about something so dangerous. Don’t let it happen again ma. Dice spoke upset looking up at Cola innocent sweet face. Baby trust me I wont do it again. I prooomiise. She cooed kissing him on the cheek trying her hardest to convince him that she would be more careful. Ok ma. This kinda shit is serious. I can’t let up off you to softly about this type of shit. Dice continued to fuss wanting Cola to fully understand the true meaning of the alarm.

When Dice showed Cola how it worked he explained it means her life. It would notify him and the police department if anyone tried to break in within seconds of being detected.

I have been doing good...rite? Cola tried to reason. Her and Dice both knew that this was the first time she forgot. You rite. Dice reasoned a little. Make this a one time mistake. Dice added fully giving in to his lady queen.

Cola nodded her head indicating she understood him plain and simple. It was already getting late and they had, had a very long day. They ripped and ran all day taking care important business together. From her early morning doctor appointment, to shopping, than helping with the nursery back to making a food run.

She was full and exhausted. Not that it was something out of the ordianry she was pregnant and the heavy load she carried was the cause of it. She was perfectly healthy.

Baby I’m going to go and run a warm bubble bath. You need anything? She asked while yarning. "Naw I’m good. Daddy bout to join you. Dice got up close to Cola backside and wrapped his arms around her shapely waist.

You smell so good ma. Dice told Cola sniffing on her neck and body. Thanks and you aint slick either. I feel you getting hard up against me. Cola flirted.

So get to moving than. Dice demanded fumbling with Cola pussy.

Cola gave him the yea you can get it smile and led the way with Dice still wrapped around her waist following up behind her as they walked down the hallway to their bedroom.

No more than five minutes into the room Dice phone started to ring. Cola had already ran their bath water and was laying her sleeping gear out on the bed beside Dice.

Slow 90’s jam played in the bedroom. Cola knew once Dice was off the phone he would join her in the circled tub in the opening of their bathroom that was connected to the bedroom.

The tub was filled to cover their body to the shoulders. Her body had been so distressed she just wanted the warmth and bubbles to do the damn thang.

Baby? Dice called out startling her. Cola had just stepped in and was enjoying the bubbly feeling. He was standing in front of her while she was in the tub. Feel good don’t it? Dice asked his baby.

Yep. Come on and join I just hopped in. Cola invited Dice with a splash of water. I can’t baby. I gotta make a quick run. Dice said declining Cola invite.

I’m coming with you. Cola told him wiggling her body tryna get out the tub. Not this time babymama. You’re to pregnant to come hang out on this one baby.

Cola was highly unpleased with Dice answer.

‘What? I can show you I’m down! I know you not going to let anything happen to me anyways." Cola was coming up many suggestions. One after another to prove her rights to join the ride.

Baby your doctor appointment today plus the shopping and putting the baby crib together made me realize just how soon this baby really is coming. Cola knew his reasonings were true but was’nt trying to take no for an answer.

But Dice it’s getting late. Cola whinned tryna convince Dice yet again. Cola don’t even play you know my concerns are good I’ll be rite back.

Cola waited a second before talking again.

I understand baby. It just I’m going to be missing you. She honestly told him in her little sad voice with a sad face batting her eyes.

You so cute. I’m gone miss you to. But stop trying to play me guilty ma. Dice snapped romantically.

Ok...ok...ok. Cola giggled playfully of being caught in her game.

Since they had started hanging out on the regular she never missed ridding out and she sorta felt punished for being pregnant.

Cola quickly realized he had put his foot down this time and was not going to let her join him on this run he all of a sudden had to make. She knew he was only protecting her and their unborn. It was now no secret that her man was living a risky lifestyle.

Cola made the best descion and decided to listen.

So what time you getting back? Cola questioned hoping it would’nt take over thirty minutes. "I’ll only be fifthteen minutes away from the house. This is no biggie it will be smooth like butter. In and out. And when I get home I want you laid out ready for daddy in that sexy lingere you got laying on the bed.

I can do that." Cola sweetly answered.

Dice bent towards her and gently cupped her chin and looked from her pretty pouty lips to her beautiful face. I love you Cola.

I love you to Dice. Cola smiled tempting him to kiss her tempted to kiss lips. And he did hungrily.

Imma eat that pretty pussy good for you when I get home. Dice told Cola with cockiness thinking of her other set of lips she was blessed with.

Cola felt her girl tingle. Just the thought of his mouth piece turned her gutta poppin pussy ass on. Ok. She replied hornily. Ite. I’ll see you in about thirty.

Dice walked out the bathroom into their bedroom and walked out the room door.

Cola sighed when she heard the door close, she really wanted to go with Dice. But the promise of that mouth game in twenty minutes cooled her steam.

Since Dice had to bail it ment more bubbles, he always complained telling her she used to much. Cola smiled cause she knew she did. Some time she had bubbles coming up from the tub to the floor. It was fun to her probally because she was so bubbly she’d always thought.

Cola snapped out of her thoughts when she finally heard the front door close shut.

This time Dice had really proved to her he put his foot down and really ment the word no this time! It was ok though, they had a understanding. She turnt the music up and tried to enjoy her little moment of me time.

    47007.png

Dice was headed to the warehouse. Black uncle Wise has been watching Murk and his crew for months. They even silently watched Murk and Chris peep the trap house out giving them the feeling that they were getting away with it. Today Dice gave Wise the go. It was Murk death night! And his cheerleader boyfriend Chris.

Murk was getting out of hand with his grimy stick up ways and sending his bitch out as bait to a job that he was suppose to handle. But than again Dice knew his ass would’nt have did no better than what she had done.

Havin Uncle Wise watch Murk every move Dice knew Murk could always be snatched within a snap of a finger. The flashbacks of him and his crew making bullets rain at Cola birthday bash he worked so hard for made his blood boil.

    Buzz Buzz Buzz.

    Yea. Dice answered.

Aye bro you gone have to speed it up, this nigga Murk bout to get murked rite now. Black hot headed ass ready to gun him down. Bruh going loco in this bitch. Smooth explained.

What got Black in his feelings? Dice asked glancing at the time. Dice had’nt even to long hung up the phone.

Black tired of hearing his bitch ass cry bout a hit he heard that’s on Cola head. Fuck that nigga doe bro. He just want some mfkn clout and hyped Black crazy ass.

Who he sayin got a hit out on my queen? Dice needed all details on the hear say involving Cola. He said Shameka. Word from his street Shameka the one set that shoot out up at the birthday bash.

Dice mind instantly raced to Cola safety.

Man. Just hearin you say that got me feeling a whole nother type of way. I’m bout to go get my lil shawty. Dice said gaining a sick feeling.

What she aint wit you!? Smooth asked in disbelief. Cola and Dice had been ridding shot gun like crazy lately.

Naw. I told her I’d be quick and rite back, now my conscience fuckin wit me cause of what you said. And how badly she wanted to come. Tell Black ass it aint murken season just yet. Gone let em kill Chris and give em a drink afterwards. I’ll be on soon. Dice instructed.

Alright I got you. Get sis and law Murk a still be breathing when you get here.

No doubt. Dice told his boy and they hunged up.
