Thomas Pauli

Thomas Pauli is married with two Children and currently resides in NW rural Georgia. He was born in Oak Park, IL and grew up with three siblings and God-fearing parents in the little Village of Williams Bay on Geneva Lake in southern Wisconsin. At age 12 Thomas accepted Jesus as his Lord and Savior and became a born-again Christian. After high school Thomas served in the US Army during the Vietnam War. After receiving an honorable discharge, Thomas entered the University of Illinois School of Architecture, where he graduated with academic honors in 1974. Over the next thirty years Thomas designed and managed the construction of numerous residential, commercial and industrial buildings located all over the Western Hemisphere. In recent years Thomas acquired an interest in eschatology, the study of End Times. After reading numerous books on the subject, Thomas Pauli could not find even one book that was compatible with what the Holy Bible says about End Times. Over a five-year period Thomas engaged in a fixated study to acquire knowledge and expertise about the subject of End Times. Sometimes God chooses unlikely people to accomplish his will. When the soul reaches its destination, it is metabolized into a resurrected or glorified body. This new body is perfect in every way and far superior to the mortal body that was left behind. This miraculous event is reserved for the Elect who were chosen by the Creator before the creation of the world. INTRODUCTION

Sometimes I wonder what the future will bring to those of us who are Christians. If your thoughts are occasionally focused on this sort of thing, I invite you to come with me on a whirlwind journey into the future. I believe you will find the passage to be intriguing and thought-provoking.

Curiosity motivated me to read numerous books about the future and there are lots of them out there. I believe the foremost writings that tell about the future are found in the Holy Bible. The first time I read Isaiah, Jeremiah, Ezekiel, Daniel and Revelation, I found it difficult to understand many of the mysteries found in these prophetical books. Several contemporary writers have attempted to resolve the mysteries of End Times. From what I have read, these authors have all failed to provide a clear and simple picture of what to expect. In order to see into the future, it is advisable to identify some of the notable individuals and events of the past. So I will begin this essay with an outline of notable individuals and events of the past.

CHAPTER 1

NOTABLE INDIVIDUALS AND

EVENTS OF THE PAST

Creator. During the course of this writing I will use the term Creator numerous times. God, whom many of us were introduced to as little children in Sunday school, is the Creator. The Creator is omniscient (knows everything) is omnipresent (is everywhere) and is all-powerful. He created planet Earth and every living thing on the planet, including human beings. He created human beings to look like himself. The first human being to find favor with the Creator was Enoch. Enoch walked and talked with the Creator. The Bible says that Enoch did not die. While still alive he was taken to heaven to be with the Creator. I call this phenomenon the rapture of the elect.

The Elect. You will see this term many times in the pages ahead. The Elect are individuals whose names are recorded in the Lamb’s Book of Life. Before the creation of the world, the Creator chose certain individuals to receive the gift of eternal life (Eph. 1:4-5).

The elect are the spiritual offspring of Abraham and citizens of the spiritual kingdom of God the Creator. Both God the Creator and Jesus Christ, the Son of the Creator, adopted the elect. When the elect embrace the Son of the Creator as their Lord and Savior, the elect receive the designation as Saints.

Israelites. Israelites are the biological offspring of Abraham. Approximately twenty-one million Israelites, living on planet Earth today, have been able to keep their identity by keeping their marriages within the twelve tribes and by honoring the traditions of Israel. Most Israelites acknowledge and accept the Torah, the first five books of the Bible. The Creator inspired Moses to write the Torah. Most Israelites believe the Ten Commandments (rules to live by) were given to Moses by God the Creator on top of Mt. Sinai. The Israelites were chosen by God the Creator to be his Chosen People.

The Great Flood. The second human being to find favor with the Creator was Noah. Noah walked and talked with the Creator. Noah had three sons named Ham, Shem and Japheth. The Creator instructed Noah to build a huge boat. Noah and his three sons worked 120 years to construct this enormous vessel. At the appropriate time a large group of animals were ushered onto what became known as Noah’s Ark. Then Noah and his three sons and their wives (eight individuals) entered the Ark.

All other human beings were denied entry into the Ark because they were obsessed with evil thoughts, words and deeds. After many days of severe rain the Ark came
